The jet noise is loud. And it’s been constant. For about three years. And while the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has engaged the community about the issues caused by its estimated $36 billion NextGen flight control system — though with no results — the FAA recently disengaged from talks with the locals in late June after the state filed an administrative petition, with Howard County government following suit in mid-July.
