Abby Cason (Ensemble) is thrilled to be a part of Jesus Christ Superstar and to join Patio in the Park for the first time! previously played Jovie in Elf the Musical Jr. and Alice in Alice in Wonderland. Abby would like to thank her family and friends for their support.

Adriana Zuniga-Williams (Mary Magdalene) is happy to return to the Patio Playhouse stage after 10 years. Patio audiences may remember her from Angels, Man of La Mancha, and . Adriana would like to thank the entire cast and production crew, and especially Dawn Marie for being her favorite Superstar!

Alexander Guthrie (Ensemble) is making his Patio Playhouse (and theater) debut! Xander is no stranger to Patio—his parents first got involved with the theater 8 years ago, when he was a newborn—but he is having a great time onstage with three generations of his family and hopes you love it as much as he does!

Ali Flores (Ensemble) is thrilled to be part of this show! She is attending CSUSM and works as a performer at Legoland. She has also been in many theatre productions in North County. Ali would like to thank the JCS cast and crew for being superstars and her friends and family for loving and supporting her. Enjoy the show! Proverbs 3:3

Alyssa Guttendorf (Judas) is thrilled to be making her Patio debut in one of her favorite shows! Local credits include JCS in Concert (OB Playhouse) Cabaret (ion Theatre), (Coronado Playhouse) and Heathers the Musical (OnStage Playhouse). Thanks to Deborah, Emily, and the entire production team for trusting me with this once-in-a-lifetime role. Love to P and fam!

Ashton Wright (Roman Guard) has been in a few different plays growing up, the most recent being Anne of Avonlea, where he played Paul Irving. He is 18 years old, and likes to play guitar and ride motorcycles in his spare time. He is also enrolled in EMT school, and plans to be a firefighter for his career. He hopes you enjoy the show.

Cassiopeia Guthrie (Ensemble) was most recently seen as Sarah in Beau Jest (Aubrey Award, Lead Actress in a Comedy). She’s over the moon to tell this story with this cast/crew and her tremendously talented family (David, Xander, and mama JJ… with Jasper on back-up vocals!). Cassiopeia would like to thank everyone involved with making this production a success! Enjoy the show! Catalina Colby (Ensemble) is excited to be back at Patio Playhouse, giving all thanks and glory to . Catalina’s most recent roles are Sweeney Todd (Johanna Barker) and Legally Blonde (Delta Nu Girl). Catalina would like to thank her family for encouraging her to “Do your best, and commit the rest,” and her boo, Anthony, for all his love and support.

Chris Braden (Apostle) has appeared in a number of Patio shows, including Waiting for Godot (Estragon), The 1940’s Radio Hour (Neil Tildon), and Greetings (Andy Gorski). Chris holds a Dramatic Arts Degree and has performed in various theatres around San Diego. Chris thanks his family and friends for their support over the years. Thank you for your support of the arts and enjoy the show!

Cindy Alfonso (Ensemble) was in the onstage choir in The Hunchback of Notre Dame (La Jolla Playhouse). Other credits include SUDS (Coronado Playhouse) and Johnna (: Osage County), Anne Kronenberg (Dear Harvey), and Lorraine (Sonata 1962) at Breakthrough Workshop Theatre. Her favorite role is Mom to her son, A.J.! Thanks to Rob, family, friends, and the Patio Playhouse team! Danielle Muckle (Dance Captain/Ensemble) is thrilled to make her Patio Playhouse debut! Recent performances include (Laker Girl/Ensemble), Fine Arts Network, Dance on the Edge, and San Diego Festival. Danielle currently dances with H20 Dance Co. and Get Down/Pick Up Dance Co. Danielle thanks her family for their unending support as well as the faculty at Performing Arts Workshop.

David Guthrie (Pontius Pilate) is thrilled to be playing Pilate with this stellar cast! His previous credits include Les Miserables (Jean Valjean), ( Flynn), Sugar (Joe), among others. David would like to thank the production team for this opportunity, and especially his wife Cassiopeia and boys Alexander and Jasper.

Dawn Marie Zuniga-Williams (Soul Girl/Ensemble)—Dawn Marie’s favorite roles include Fred in Once Upon A Mattress, Rosamund in The Robber Bridegroom, Texas in Cabaret, and Lyn in The Great American Trailer Park Musical—a role that she will be reprising later this summer with Luminary Arts. She’d like to thank the cast and crew for their dedication and hard work. Ice cream!!

Debra Thomas (Ensemble) is pleased to be making her Patio Playhouse debut!! She was most recently seen as Cinderella’s Mother and the Voice of the Giant in . She is currently serving in the United States Navy, and for the past 8 years has enjoyed singing at ceremonies and events wherever she has been assigned, keeping her passion for performing alive while serving her country.

Diego Castro (Apostle) has been acting in theatre for about 2 years now and has mostly done productions at Southwestern College. Roles include Jeffrey in and an ensemble role in ’s . Diego loves the stage and performing is his passion, especially musicals! He’ll also be an ensemble member for Patio’s production of In the Heights later this summer.

Dominique Brown (Ensemble) is a comic performer attending Southwestern College, where she has performed in Godspell (Ensemble), Night of the Living Dead (Helen), and Plan 9 from Outer Space (Mona). She's honored to be in this production with a very talented cast and crew.

Dorian Rodriguez (Roman Guard)—His previous experience in theater consists of Beauty and the Beast” in middle school, where he played Lumiere. He has missed theater and is glad to be back as a part of it, and looks forward to continue. Doug Shattuck (Priest # 1) is happy to be back with Patio Playhouse! Previous Patio performance include Godspell and Beard of Avon. Other credits include: Mame, , Gigi with Lyric , and 42nd Street with Moonlight Amphitheatre. Shout-out to my wife and muse, Susie!

Dylan Lally (Ensemble) just finished his freshman year at ECHS. He is excited to join this cast in his third production at Patio Playhouse. He is thankful for the continuing guidance and faith of the great production team and is thrilled to learn all new dance moves.

Elias Questenberg (Apostle) is thrilled to make his Patio Playhouse acting debut. His resume was eaten by his pet tarantula, so just take it on 'faith' that he is an experienced performer. Enjoy the show! Geoffrey A. Cox (Priest #3) is pleased to be returning to the Kit Carson stage for another awesome summer. A veteran actor and director at Patio Playhouse, he previously directed Into the Woods and Beauty & the Beast. He was last seen on the Kit Carson stage in The Secret Garden (PaccoArts). He is the Artistic Director of Grand Façade Theatre Productions (@GFacadeTheatre).

Hannah Henson (Ensemble) is so thrilled to be in another Patio Playhouse production. Her last role was Sally in The 413 Project's You're A Good Man Charlie Brown. She has also performed as Marian in The Music Man, Laurie in Oklahoma, and Cosette in Les Miserables (also Music Director). She is currently pursuing an associate’s degree in theater from Palomar College.

Izaiah Rhinehart (Apostle) welcomes you to the show! Favorite past roles include Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast, Radames in , and Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He’d like to thank Deborah, Erin, and the cast for their hard work and dedication. Enjoy!

Jason Schlarmann (Ensemble) is pleased to perform with such a talented cast of , and considers it a privilege to have worked with Patio Playhouse's production team for a third consecutive summer at Kit Carson. Jennifer Purviance (King Herod) is pleased to return to the Patio stage this summer! Musical theater is her passion and she has studied at A.M.D.A in NYC. Favorite roles include Mama Rose in , Reno Sweeney in , and Jan in (Aubrey Award). Jennifer would like to thank this amazing cast and production team for an incredible experience she won't soon forget.

JJ Barlow (Ensemble) is making her Patio Playhouse debut. Although JJ is a little strange, she is no stranger to theatre as she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre in 1982. Jesus Christ Superstar is her favorite musical ever, and she is having the time of her life onstage with three generations of her family.

John Paul Evert (Roman Guard) is excited to be back in theater after a 4-year hiatus. He has been in over 10 shows at Patio Playhouse, including Prairie Lights (Benjamin), (Kurt von Trapp), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Benjamin). Enjoy the show! Jolyon Maxilom (Apostle) was too modest to brag about his theatrical experience. Enjoy his performance this evening!

Jovani Ahmad Chavez (Apostle) was recently the assistant choreographer for American Idiot at Southwestern College. Jovani has performed for the San Diego Trolley Dances with Jean Issacs and performed in the prestigious San Diego Airport Art Residency. He is also the Principal Dancer for transcenDANCE. He would like to thank the cast and best friends Ashley & Lucia for being his #1 supporter. Kai Brown (Simon Zealotes) will be attending the Hartt School at the University of Hartford to pursue a BFA in Music Theatre this fall. Kami Dickerson (Ensemble)—This is Kami's first production with Patio Playhouse, and she is thankful for the opportunity to grow as a performer. Outside the theater, Kami loves baking banana bread, playing volleyball, and travelling. During her most recent travels, she enjoyed visiting the Globe Theatre in London and seeing Così fan tutte in Italy.

Karen Nolte (Apostle) has come to the realization that no matter how many times she expresses her disdain for ’s , nothing will keep her away from the magnetic pull of his other great works! Karen was last seen raising hell as Beadle Bamford in Patio Playhouse’s Sweeney Todd. Please enjoy this show, but not for her alone!

Laurissa Rudgers (Apostle) has been with Patio Playhouse for the past 5 years. She just finished directing Sweeney Todd—School Edition at Patio, which garnered her first National Youth Award nomination for Outstanding Direction. Favorite roles include Callie (Stop Kiss), Sissy (A Piece of My Heart), and Honey (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?). Endless thanks to the cast and crew of JCS and to her family and partner.

Laurissa Rudgers is sponsored by David and Laura Rudgers. Lea LeBrun (Ensemble) is a student at Palomar College majoring in . Credits include Mrs. Webb in Our Town, Osa Johnson in Chamber Music, and Cosette in Les Miserables. Last summer she was in Patio's How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. Lea would like to thank everyone involved in this production for making this show such a wonderful experience.

Lillian Broschart (Ensemble) is ecstatic to be performing with Patio Playhouse again! Currently a student at Classical Academy High School, she is a member of The Caiman Crescendos choir. Credits include The Cat in the Hat (Seussical the Musical) and Marty (Grease).

Maille Riggs (Ensemble) has had a blast in this show and this cast! She would like to thank all her family, friends, fellow cast members, and God for helping her figure it out along the way.

Mario Arambula-Damian (Jesus) is a college student at Southwestern College. He began doing theatre his junior year of high school with the show choir called The Main Attraction. Mario plans on continuing his education while using his spare time on his music and in the theatre.

Mark Broschart (Roman Guard) was too modest to brag about his theatrical experience. Enjoy his performance this evening! Noah Zuniga-Williams (Caiaphas) is ecstatic to be back at Kit Carson after so many years. Noah is currently studying music education at Cuyamaca College with focus on tuba. Priscilla Ju (Ensemble)—Favorite roles include Heidi ([title of show]) and Penny (Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog). At Breakthrough Workshop Theatre, she played / Thomas Hodges (Dear Harvey), Le Bret (Cyrano), and Actor 1 (45 Plays for 45 Presidents). Samantha Goldstein (Priest #2) is delighted to be making her Plays in the Park debut. At Patio, she has appeared in Barefoot in the Park and Clybourne Park, and directed Becky Shaw, Circle Mirror Transformation, Beau Jest, and The Sisters Rosensweig. She thanks Deborah, Emily, and the wonderful cast and crew for this opportunity, and David and Jarrah for their love and support.

Sarah Slaven (Annas) is excited to share in this story! She has been blessed to be a part of many productions over the years, some of her favorites being Les Miserables (Fallbrook Players), Godspell (CPT), and Once Upon a Mattress (Patio Playhouse). Sierra Weis (Ensemble) just finished her senior year at Classical Academy High School and is beyond elated to be in her second show with Patio Playhouse. Favorite roles have been Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Enid Hoops in Legally Blonde, and Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd (Patio Playhouse). YEET.

Sydney Joyner (Soul Girl/Ensemble) is a San Diego native and is making her Patio debut in this beautiful show. She has a BA in Musical Theater from CSU Chico but has been performing since she was 7. You can also see her as Abeula Claudia in Patio’s production of In the Heights!

Violeta Ruiz-López (Soul Girl/Ensemble) is a student at Southwestern College and a Chula Vista High School graduate. Her favorite roles are Extraordinary Girl in American Idiot, Paulette in Legally Blonde, and Robin in Godspell. She dedicates this performance to her parents for always encouraging her to work hard and accomplish her dreams.

Wyatt Rhinehart (Peter) is thrilled to perform once again with Patio Playhouse! Wyatt enjoys playing baseball, singing, playing the piano and throwing javelin. Favorite credits include Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Link Larkin in Hairspray, the Beast in Beauty and the Beast. Emily Awkerman (Musical Director) has been playing piano and working in musical theater for several decades, and mounting a production of Jesus Christ Superstar has been her ultimate dream for as many years. Since first hearing the album in the early 70s at a very young age, she has been drawn to the music and creative story telling. First and foremost, Emily wishes to thank Deborah, Patio, and the production team for helping make this dream come true. Props to her #1 roadie David and hugs all around to the cast who has been absolutely phenomenal during the entire process. Kat Perhach (Assistant Director)—It would take a Deborah Zimmer to get her back working a show after almost a decade. She enjoyed her time working with our Super Star family.
