Artist Handbook Dear artists, dear guests, we would like to welcome you to HELLERAU and ! We are hoping that you can make yourself at home at HELLERAU for the time of your stay - we will try our best to make it an unique experience for you.

We are very happy to have you here with us and to be able to present your artistic work to our audience. One of our main aims is to develop HELLERAU as a place of exchanging ideas, to initiate encounters and meetings with other artists and with our audience. So we welcome you with all our hearts to become part of this interaction and hope that you will leave with new friends and experiences.

This handbook tries to provide helpful information to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Do not hesitate to ask us anything, if you have any questions.

How to reach us by car from Dresden centre - B 97 (Königsbrücker Straße) towards the airport → after approx. 4 km turn left onto Moritzburger Weg (Infineon com- pany on the right) → take the next right onto Klotzscher Weg → follow the tram tracks via Am Hellerrand into Karl-Lieb- knecht-Straße → after approx. 500 m you will find the access road to the grounds of the Festspielhaus on the right-hand side from motorway A4 - exit Dresden-Hellerau → turn left onto Radeburger Straße (B170) in the direction of Dresden-Hellerau/Dresden-Klotzsche → after about 3.5 km turn right at the traffic lights onto Ludwig-Kossuth-Straße → follow the tram tracks via Moritzburger Weg into Karl-Liebknecht-Straße → after approx. 100 m you will find the entrance to the grounds of the Festspielhaus on the left-hand side

Parking Free parking is available on the premises of the theatre. The number of spaces is limited.

5 Good to know

The Pastamanufaktur the restaurant at HELLERAU usually opens daily from 12 to 2:30 pm. On days of performances the restaurant is open until 10 pm or later.

Companies consisting of more than 10 artists who wish to have lunch or dinner in the restaurant, please order in advance. We are happy to make a reservation for you.

Invitations The tourmanager or responsible person should hand in the complementary ticket reservation list to Simone Michel or Dana Bondartschuk on the day of the performance at 5:00 pm at the latest. After that we can not guarantee you the needed amount of tickets. Thank you for your help!
