BAB II SEJARAH DAN PERKEMBANGAN GARUDA INDONESIA Pada bab dunia penulis akan menguaraikan ataupun membahas tentang kondisi dunia penerbangan indonesia serta penulis mengambil studi kasus dari salah satu maskapai penerbangan Indonesia yaitu PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. Dan pada bab ini penulis akan membagi menjadi dua sub bab utama yaitu : Gambaran banyak tentang Garuda Indonesia dan perkembangan dari Garuda Indonesia. A. Sejarah Garuda Indonesia Garuda Indonesia adalah perusahaan penerbangan nasional yang dimiliki oleh indonesia serta maskapai pertama dan terbesar yang ada di Indonesia, Dengan tujuan serta pendekatan yang berorientasi untuk “melayani” serta Garuda Indonesia juga mempunyai slogan yaitu “The Airline Of Indonesia”. Garuda ini sendiri diambil dari nama burung, yaitu burung dari dewa Wisnu dalam legenda pewayangan. Sejarah perkembangan penerbangan dilakukan sejak dulu pada saat Indonesia sedang mempertahankan kemerdekaanya. EXEMPTION - EASYJET AIRLINE COMPANY LIMITED, EASYJET EUROPE AIRLINE GMBH, EASYJET SWITZERLAND S.A. AND EASYJET UK LIMITED. THE CIVIL AVIATION (AIR TRAVEL ORGANISERS’ LICENSING) REGULATIONS 2012 AS AMENDED, EXEMPTION PURSUANT TO REGULATION 11 1. Subject to paragraph 6, the Civil Aviation Authority, in exercise of its powers under Regulation 11 of the Civil Aviation (Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing) Regulations 2012 as amended, exempts any person who makes available flight accommodation in the circumstances set out in paragraph 2, 3 or 4 from the need to hold an Air Travel Organisers’ Licence. 2. This exemption applies if: a) the person making available flight accommodation to the consumer directly (e.g. through website, mobile application or telephone sales) is easyJet Airline Company Limited (“EACL”); b) EACL purchases the flight accommodation from the operator of the aircraft on which the flight accommodation is made available and the operator is one of either easyJet Europe Airline GmbH, easyJet Switzerland S.A. or easyJet UK Limited (each “an easyJet airline”); c) Immediately after the consumer pays a deposit or the full cost of the flight accommodation charged by the easyJet airline and/or EACL to the consumer, the easyJet airline (through EACL) immediately issues a confirmed ticket to the consumer; d) each easyJet airline enters into and maintains in force an undertaking, in a form agreed by the CAA, that tickets made available via EACL will be honoured whether or not the relevant easyJet airline has been paid; and e) EACL states clearly on all invoices and receipts issued in respect of that flight accommodation: - “This sale is not protected under the ATOL Scheme”. -

It includes a proposal for an operational approval for the use of EFB applications by commercial air transport (CAT) operators. General Remarks LX The proposed NPA 2016-12 has the goal to harmonize the implementation of the AMC 20-25 and to give EFB system providers, application developers, operators and regulators guidance how to implement an EFB solution. The 138 page NPA is very detailed and covers all relevant areas. It supports the basic principle that an EFB system should support the pilots and should support a safe operation. Nevertheless in some parts the guidance is very specific, restrictive and complex. This could lead to: - It will increase complexity, manpower needed and time to implement an EFB solution for system suppliers, operators and regulators. - It is questionable if a regulation this complex and specific can cope in all cases with technology innovations especially in the IT- and EFB-Area. -

With this addition to their TRAX core maintenance system, Transavia will transition to electronic technical logbooks and digital task cards. The airline will experience immense gains from going mobile and paperless. eMobility apps are task-based and intuitive for end users with minimal training required and enhanced productivity achieved. Users access real-time information and are connected from anywhere with truly mobile off-line capability. Reduced aircraft maintenance delays combined with savings on labor manhours result in huge savings and operational efficiency. Transavia will implement the iOS PilotLog, CabinLog, QuickTurn, and AeroDox apps along with the web- based Task Control app in Phase 1. In Phase 2 they will bring online the EzStock, VisualCheck, and Production Control apps. The eMobility Electronic Technical Logbook consists of the QuickTurn, PilotLog, and CabinLog apps which allow communication between flight and maintenance crews, reporting of aircraft and cabin defects, a permanent record of aircraft maintenance history, the electronic certificate of release, and other functionalities. The AeroDox app enables search, view and download of reference documentation needed for work performance. It handles OEM publications such as AMM, IPC, wirings, SRM, MEL, and other manuals as well as documentation in formats such as SGML, XML, PDF, Images, Schematics, Videos, and Word docs.
