Exemption - Easyjet Airline Company Limited, Easyjet Europe Airline Gmbh, Easyjet Switzerland S.A
EXEMPTION - EASYJET AIRLINE COMPANY LIMITED, EASYJET EUROPE AIRLINE GMBH, EASYJET SWITZERLAND S.A. AND EASYJET UK LIMITED. THE CIVIL AVIATION (AIR TRAVEL ORGANISERS’ LICENSING) REGULATIONS 2012 AS AMENDED, EXEMPTION PURSUANT TO REGULATION 11 1. Subject to paragraph 6, the Civil Aviation Authority, in exercise of its powers under Regulation 11 of the Civil Aviation (Air Travel Organisers’ Licensing) Regulations 2012 as amended, exempts any person who makes available flight accommodation in the circumstances set out in paragraph 2, 3 or 4 from the need to hold an Air Travel Organisers’ Licence. 2. This exemption applies if: a) the person making available flight accommodation to the consumer directly (e.g. through website, mobile application or telephone sales) is easyJet Airline Company Limited (“EACL”); b) EACL purchases the flight accommodation from the operator of the aircraft on which the flight accommodation is made available and the operator is one of either easyJet Europe Airline GmbH, easyJet Switzerland S.A. or easyJet UK Limited (each “an easyJet airline”); c) Immediately after the consumer pays a deposit or the full cost of the flight accommodation charged by the easyJet airline and/or EACL to the consumer, the easyJet airline (through EACL) immediately issues a confirmed ticket to the consumer; d) each easyJet airline enters into and maintains in force an undertaking, in a form agreed by the CAA, that tickets made available via EACL will be honoured whether or not the relevant easyJet airline has been paid; and e) EACL states clearly on all invoices and receipts issued in respect of that flight accommodation: - “This sale is not protected under the ATOL Scheme”. -

This agreement is a precursor for transporting aliens seeking admission as nonimmigrant visitors under the Visa Waiver Program. The carriers below are signatory to the VWP and can transport passengers under the program. The date indicates the last signed agreement. Agreement are valid for 7 years. If you transport VWP passengers and are not a signatory carrier, fines will be levied. En transportform, der får stadig større betydning, er luftfarten. Danmark er privilegeret, hvad angår internationale og nationale flyforbindelser. Det er unikt, at et land med godt 5 mio. indbyggere har adgang til så mange direkte internationale flyforbindelser. Det betyder, at danskerne og dansk erhvervsliv har gode muligheder for at være del af en verden med globaliseret handel, uddannelse og turisme. Danmark har også relativt mange indenrigsflyruter, der er med til at binde de for- skellige dele af Danmark sammen. Luftfarten er gennem de seneste år blevet liberaliseret, hvilket har medført stigende konkurrence. Samtidig har den globale luftfartsindustri været igennem en ned- gangsperiode i efterdønningerne af de tragiske begivenheder d. 11. september 2001. Også de markant stigende oliepriser har sat luftfartserhvervet under pres. Det er vigtigt, at vi sikrer, at Danmark er i stand til at møde de globale udfordringer. I den forbindelse er det væsentligt, at dansk luftfart udvikler sig i positiv retning. Det er i høj grad markedskræfterne, som styrer udviklingen i dansk luftfart. Fra po- litisk hold kan vi dog understøtte en positiv udvikling i samarbejde med de mange interessenter indenfor luftfarten. Jeg har med denne rapport ønsket at beskrive de væsentligste udfordringer og ud- viklingstendenser for dansk luftfart for på denne måde at sikre et godt grundlag for en drøftelse af fremtidens luftfartspolitik.
