Your Itinerary Day 1: Arrive in Split, bike fitting and briefing Mileage: 0-20 km Highlights: Split, Diocletian's Palace (0-12.5 miles) Arrive in Split today and take time to visit Diocletian's Palace, now recognized on UNESCO's World heritage list. Possible extra ride 30 A one-hour ferry ride will take you to Solta, your first Dalmatian island. Pedal along km (20 miles) rural and quiet roads, on this island you will step back in time, as there are no big hotels, no modern building, just traditional life.
