from Munich airport:

Take Bus No. 635 from Munich Airport, terminal 1, which departs every 20 minutes (e.g. 12:01, 12:21, 12:41) and will bring you to the Freising Railway station. Journey time is 18 minutes. From there to the Meeting place, it takes about 10 minutes by foot, or you can take Bus No. 639 from the Station to Freising‐Weihenstephan and then climb the hill. This bus departs every 10 minutes.

By train

Munich central station ‐ Freising station

. It takes approximately 40 minutes by S‐Bahn (suburban train) from Munich central station to Freising station using line “S1” Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV) ‐ Schedule

When leaving the station via the main entrance, you will find the city bus lines on the right‐hand side. Lines 638 and 639 are running to Weihenstephan Campus.

By bus

From Freising station you can reach the campus by city bus lines 638 and 639 (stop Weihenstephan) within approximately 7 minutes travel time.

Line 638 direction Hittostraße/Fraunhofer‐Institut (schedule) runs 4 times per hour taking 8 minutes from Freising station to Weihenstephan Campus. Line 639 (schedule) runs every 30 minutes taking 6 minutes from Freising station to Weihenstephan Campus and via the forest science buildings and “Lange Point” back to the station.

By foot

By foot it will take you approximately 20 minutes from Freising station to Weihenstephan Campus.

(2) Gasthof Lerner is also only a few minutes to walk from the meeting site, and the location is in the old town centre.
