Journey time is 18 minutes. From there to the Meeting place, it takes about 10 minutes by foot, or you can take Bus No. 639 from the Station to Freising‐Weihenstephan and then climb the hill. This bus departs every 10 minutes. By train Munich central station ‐ Freising station . It takes approximately 40 minutes by S‐Bahn (suburban train) from Munich central station to Freising station using line “S1” Munich Transport and Tariff Association (MVV) ‐ Schedule . Line 638 direction Hittostraße/Fraunhofer‐Institut (schedule) runs 4 times per hour taking 8 minutes from Freising station to Weihenstephan Campus. Line 639 (schedule) runs every 30 minutes taking 6 minutes from Freising station to Weihenstephan Campus and via the forest science buildings and “Lange Point” back to the station.
