Having something for everyone, our list ranges from small family-owned wines entrenched in tradition, all with stories to share, through to a smattering of iconic Spanish names that we love and have enjoyed for many years. Another focus for us is to showcase and celebrate little known Spanish regions and relatively unknown native grape varietals. We passionately believe Spain really is one of the true greats of the wine world. DUERO RIVER VALLEY These grapes are grown on dramatically steep slopes meaning harvesters scale leg-burning ascents to hand pick the grapes. All this hard work pays off with whites that are elegant and clean with well woven notes of tropical fruits.

EBRO RIVER VALLEY Snaking between the Sierra Cantabrica and the Sierra Demanda mountains, the river Ebro and its tributaries have helped carve out the regions that have been celebrated for over two centuries. From the famous Txakoli - beautiful in it simplicity - to the ranging styles in Rioja. There are some stunningly different interpretations - Viura is a terroir leech - the wines are imprinted with the winemaker's techniques and the soul of the land the grapes were grown upon. We want to celebrate all of these differences!

11 MEDITERRANEAN COAST This massive area encompasses many of the best sites in Spain. The vineyards all share exposure to the warm wind of the Med and range from moderate coastal plains to remote mountainous areas. 12 CENTRAL PLATEAU Almost half of Spain's wine production comes from this vast area just to the south of Madrid. There has been a big push here to attract international markets. Whites from this area are vibrant in their freshness, with great tension and poise, hooking you with their deliciousness.

ANDALUCÍA Made famous for it's sherry triangle, the scenery here is described as a 'moonscape' - hot, dry and arid. There are pockets of mountains and coastal vineyards that challenge this perception - our whites from here are great expressions of this diversity.

13 THE ISLANDS Fancy a 'cup of Canary'? These historically stepped vineyards have long been protected from the problems that ravaged Europe. This means the islands are home to some of Europe's oldest vines. Growing on an idylic but wild landscape, the quality here is high. Overcoming disastrous winds, rugged terrain and the constant looming volcanic presence the wines produced are distinctively powerful. Whites are fruity, aromatic, herbaceaous and spicy.

DUERO RIVER VALLEY The Duero is a region of contrasts, the river cuts through mountain ranges creating steep, dangerous terraces which the vines cling to. Bierzo sits remotely on the Trail de Santiago - producing soft and finessed mencia wines [ we think the monks had an ulterior motive for stopping here!] The rest of the region swings towards heavier, more tannic and opulent wines. MEDITERRANEAN COAST This region covers the entire east coast of Spain. Vineyards can be right by the sea or up in the mountains but they all dig their roots deep to find water in the scorching sun.
