On March 8th, we celebrated La Journée de la Francophonie. La Journée de la Francophonie is a day to celebrate and recognize all the French-speaking countries of the world. The Prep School Languages Club prepared special activities for each Grade in the Prep. In Grade 6, they had fiddlers that came and sang songs with the classes. Francophonie By Christopher Federico, The fiddlers engaged all the Grade 6 students to sing and dance along, Director of Teaching and Learning, leading to a fun-filled day. Prep and Upper Schools In Grade 7, we had Lula Creole which incorporated a Creole dancer and drummer. We learned Creole dance moves and finished with a friendly dance competition with the new moves that we learned.
