LIFE ON BOARD DOING “BIKE & BOAT” IN STYLE SERVICE AT ITS VERY BEST ABOARD OUR “FLOATING HOTELS” IN ITALY AND FRANCE: COMFORT, HOSPITALITY, QUALITY AND... BELLA VITA! THAT, WE BELIEVE, IS WHAT MAKES GIROLIBERO’S BIKE & BOAT HOLIDAYS UNIQUE.

OUR VERY OWN NOAH’S ARK Aboard our boats you’ll be joined by travelling companions from all over, as well as a Tour Leader who speaks the group’s two main languages – usually English and German. Shall we bet that you’ll go back home with a smattering of Italian or French? Want to know more? Read an account of a group tour on p. 9.

COMFORT: RELAX IN YOUR CABIN AND IN THE PUBLIC SPACES Our boats are among the most comfortable for bike and boat tours in Italy and France: en-suite cabins, low beds available on all boats, and clean and welcoming public spaces. A great home-from-home to come back to every day. Want to know more? Read all about our boats on pp. 20-23.

½ GIROLIBERO BIKES Our unmistakeable two-wheelers in their orange livery hold pride of place on our boats, ensuring trouble-free riding, comfort and safety. Want to know more? Read all about our bikes on pp. 10-11.

“BUON APPETITO”! In Italy we know a thing or two about pots and pans, and our on-board catering is simple but subtle, with a good selection of local wines and excellent service. The Ave Maria and Vita Pugna chefs boast plenty of experience and, in the words of our clients, their dishes alone are worth the trip. Here are two sample menus: 1- Linguine with asparagus, rare roast beef with fresh rocket leaves and stu¶ed tomatoes, Venetian mixed salad, tiramisù (see recipe below). 2- Freshly caught seafood in wine and herbs, seabass meunière with baby potatoes, fennel and orange salad, chocolate and cherry mousse.

SEE EVEN MORE OF FRANCE A Girolibero van and driver are on hand, should you want to have a day off your bike and explore Provence and Camargue at a more leisurely pace. Aboard the Estello and Soleo you will find all the info material you need to organise your day-trip. A couple of ideas: visit the ancient Roman city of Nîmes; head into the Luberon lavender fields; sip some wines at Gallician; marvel at the Salins du Midi salt marshes; hike from Gallician to Aigues Mortes.
