Marsh Brigade Tactical Officer 3 The West Point Association of Graduates congratulates all families on the gradua- tion of your cadets from the United States Military Academy! They are now mem- bers of the Long Gray Line, joining the ranks of more than 53,000 living West Point graduates who forge strong, enduring bonds among themselves and with their alma mater. We stand ready to provide a lifetime of support to each graduate at every stage of their alumni experience through an extensive range of services such as providing news, information and resources that keep them connected to each other and to West Point; planning and organizing reunions; offering career transition assistance and much more. We celebrate with you today, proud of the young men and women about to embark on service to our nation, and we welcome them with open arms into the Long Gray Line. Fifty-Year Affiliation Program The Class of 1970, the 50 Year Affiliate Class, has developed a special relationship with the Class of 2020. Since June 2016, members of the Class of 1970 have engaged with and supported the Class of 2020 every step of the way from R-Day to Graduation. The cadet phase of bonding and mentorship between these two classes culminates today when the Class of 1970 provides a set of Second Lieutenant bars engraved with “70- 20” to each graduate. Their relationship will continue to flourish as the new graduates join the leadership teams of our Armed Forces. 4 UNITED STATES CORPS OF CADETS CLASS OF 2020 CREST The seven stars represent the affiliation with the class of ’70 The eagle is looking right towards the officer saber, symbolizing the graduating class looking towards their future The eagle is also looking right towards the olive branches while clutching the arrows, symbolizing the graduating class’s desire for peace and preparedness to defend it There are 20 rivets in the shield for the class of 2020. The eagle is clutching the shield tightly with large talons, sym- bolizing the graduating class’s tireless defense of the nation and their commitment to the values of Duty, Honor, Country. The eagle’s vigilant eye represents the graduating class’s vision to lead through service to the country. Overall, the more traditional crest style represents that while the graduating class’s focus is on their future, they cannot forget their past. 5 THE CORPS The Corps! The Corps! The Corps! The Corps, bareheaded salute it. With eyes up, thanking our God That we of the Corps are treading Where they of the Corps have trod. They are here in ghostly assemblage, The ranks of the Corps long dead, And our hearts are standing attention, While we wait for their passing tread. The Corps of today, we salute you, The Corps of an earlier day. We follow, close order, behind you, Where you have pointed the way; The long gray line of us stretches Thro’ the years of a cent’ry told, And the last one feels to the marrow The grip of your far off hold. Grip hands with us now though we see not, Grip hands with us, strengthen our hearts As the long line stiffens and straightens With the thrill that your presence imparts. Grip hands, tho’ it be from the shadows While we swear, as you did of yore, Or living, or dying to honor The Corps, and the Corps, and the Corps. 6 CLASS OF 2020 Honor Graduates Honor Graduates are those members of the graduating class with a cumulative Cadet Performance Score equal to or greater than 3.50 over all four years Lynne Doreen Mooradian James Alexander Albright Daine Alexander Van De Wall Michael Kevin Deegan Nathaniel Jon Schlosser Samuel David Reichenthal Truman James Gabriel Brian Timothy Savidge Haley Marie Watson Jordan Dean Teevens Kevin Akira Rinkliff Joshua Michael Mooney Benjamin James Petrella Thomas Vincent Morin Zachary Kirk Daines Gavin Patrick Mcauliffe Samuel Stone Humphries Seamus Patrick Mcgettigan Sean Joseph O'Leary Jacob Michael Murdock Seth Thomas Barbrow Zachary Hunter Tarble John Stoetzer Gray Jr. Murray Lloyd Johnston IV Parker Stuart Petersen Judson Cole Haggard Gartrell Calvin Bowling Collin Edward Parker John Daniel Burke Nerissa Jayne Siwietz Valedictorian Gavin P.
