Disclaimer: These profiles include data summed for the CSDs and DAs within each area, based on internal NE LHIN definitions. The CSD and DA data available to NE LHIN is subject to Statistics Canada's rules around suppression and random rounding. As a result, particularly in areas of low population, the information presented here may not be an accurate reflection. These tables should be used with caution and information validated through knowledge of the area.

Of particular note is that for cell counts less than 10, Statistics Canada does not round randomly to base 5, as it does when cell counts are larger. Instead, the likelihood that a cell will be reported as zero increases as the unrounded estimate decreases in size. This may result in substantial undercounts for some estimates. The impact is greater for definitions that include Das (mostly urban), where the counts for individual DAs may be quite small for some characteristics.

Data note: Two CSDs in the NE LHIN did not participate in the 2016 Census. They are Ranking Location 15D and Goulais Bay 15A. Both are in the Algoma Sub-Region.
