The Project is located in south‐west Alberta near the Crowsnest Pass, approximately 7 km north of the community of Blairmore (Figure 1). The Project involves a surface coal mine, a coal preparation plant, and associated infrastructure including a coal conveyor system, a rail load‐out facility, an access corridor, maintenance shops, and other pertinent facilities (Figure 1).
