Dulwich College Suzhou invites you to compete to our Sixth Annual Swim meet on Saturday & Sunday November 16th-17th 2019

The following events will be open for entries:

Facility info: 25meters short course pool . 8 lanes. Indoor 240cm meters lane width. Touch pad 190cm width.90cm heights. 135cm at shallow end. 200cm at deep end. Rest & marshalling area at Sports hall. 45meter length ,27meters width. View area : second floor , no seats. 15meters lengths. 2meters width. Prepare racing area on pool deck after marshalling.

Coach meeting :Second floor above on sports hall at dance studio.

Meet Protocol ★4 Age Groups (9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-Over). Swimmer’s age on November 16th 2019. No 8 & under swimmer in this meet.

★A coach or team designee/contact must be on deck at all times while that team has a swimmer is the water. A coach or team designee/contact must also be present for the coach meeting.

★ Swimmers should be entered into the meet with their personal best time in short course meters.

★ You can age up swimmers for relays but no repeats.

★ Flyover starts will be used in all individual events. Relay events are clear the pool before next heat.

★ 9-10/11-12 group swimmers electing to swim the 100m individual medley will swim in a combined age group of 12&under, but will be scored separately .

★ 13-14 and 15 &over group swimmers electing to swim the 200m individual medley will swim in a combined age group of 13 & over ,but will be scored separately. . ★ No late/deck entries will be permitted after the entry deadline has passed.

★ Unlimited number of swimmers per age group. NOTE: Swimmers must swim in their correct age group. No age ups.

★Maximum Three individual events and 2 relays per swimmer.

★Heat Winner Ribbons presented at poolside after each heat.

★Medals for top3 Individual events, ribbons for place 4,5,6,7,8,individual events.

★ Trophies to top 3 ages overall. ★ FINA High Point Trophy one female & one male

★Trophies to top 3 teams

★Scoring: The top 12 places will receive points in individual races based on the below listed scale, starting with 1st place and ending with 12th place.

Individualpoints→14,12,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 Relay points → 28, 24 ,20,18, 16,14, 12, 10, 8, 6,4,2

★Only 2 swimmers from each team can be scored in 1 Individual event. ★ Only A&B Relay team can be enter, score points to Faster team.

★ Primary time from touch pads, secondary from Button, Third from Stopwatch. ★FINA Disqualification rules apply as well as the one start rule.

★ DQ sheets will be placed in team trays for the coaches to collect.

★ Camera footage and or iPad footage: We will not be accepting camera or iPad, iPhone footage as evidence to base DQ decisions on.

★Additional swims are not allowed on the day of the meet. Scratches only.
