OOn November 25th AGS hosted the grand re-opening of the airport’s Military Hospitality Suite! The suite is designed to offer the men and women of our nation’s military a relaxing place to gather with family and friends prior to their flight. The suite was opened in 2008 and needed a facelift.

AGS was approached by America’s Adopt A Soldier organization to partner with Images of the Miltary Suite before face lift. them to renovate the space as part of the 255S Information Protection Technicians Warrant Officers Fort Gordon class project. Within three months the room had gone from dreary to homey! The room now offers three Dell computer work stations, a 60 inch big screen TV, five large recliners, a kids play area, and a lending library.

“It was a privilege to work with the dedicated team at Augusta Regional Airport and the students at Fort Gordon to redesign, and furnish the Military Family Lounge,” said Mary Keeser, founder and chairman of America’s Adopt A Soldier. “This Lounge will provide a welcoming, clean, and safe environment for our service members to relax with family and friends.”
