Property resources that are surplus to, unsuitable or unsustainable in the delivery of Corporate Plan priorities will be considered for disposal at best consideration”. 1.2 Whilst this policy relates to Council owned buildings and land it is deemed appropriate and good practice to include the highway assets that Torfaen County Borough Council maintain in its role as a Highway Authority. To ensure that the Council apply the same principles to both assets the following Highway Asset Management Policy is to be placed before the Torfaen County Borough Council Cabinet in 2019.
