Ekaterina Potego – Biography
Soprano Ekaterina Potego was born in Russia. She has won numerous awards at home as well as in other Eastern European countries. Ekaterina Potego studied at the Moscow School of Music and the Vienna Conservato-ry. Among the teachers who taught her singing were Christa Ludwig and Alfred Burgstaller. She made her first appearance in 1999 at the Vienna Chamber Opera. She sang as a soloist on numerous stages throughout Europe while pursuing her career at the Vienna State Opera and the opera festivals in St. Margarethen.
