He is a Professor and Director of Theatre Production at the University of Puget Sound. Kurt has also designed scenery for the Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman Theatre, Book-It Repertory Theatre, Seattle Shakespeare Company, The Moore Theatre, Tacoma Little Theatre, and Tacoma’s Theatre on the Square. Prior to his position at the University of Puget Sound, Kurt was the General Manager of Pacific Studio, a design and fabrication firm that specializes in the entertainment and museum indus- tries. After receiving his MFA in Scene WEEK Design and Stage Technology from the University of Washington, Kurt was the Assistant Technical Director at the Seattle Repertory Theatre.
