Since its launch in 2005, VH1’s “You Oughta Know” franchise has introduced promising new artists on the rise and served as a barometer for what and who’s hot in music today. Premiering on Thursday, November 21 at 9:00pm*, VH1’s “You Oughta Know” current roster artists HAIM, JOHNNYSWIM and Lorde join franchise alums, Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sandé, Matt Nathanson and The Lumineers at the inaugural “You Oughta Know In Concert” from ’s legendary Roseland Ballroom. The announcement of the concert was made this morning on VH1’s “Big Morning Buzz Live with Carrie Keagan,” VH1’s morning entertainment news and pop-culture program.

Hosted by VH1’s resident music expert Jim Shearer, with additional appearances by celebrity presenters, this festival-style concert event will feature performances by each artist, including never-before-seen collaborations and covers. Viewers will also get an inside look at the artists’ personal lives and careers through VH1 original short film profiles that will showcase exactly what and why “You Oughta Know” about each of the performers.

VH1’S EMMY AWARD-WINNING “ROCK DOCS” FRANCHISE REVISITS THE 10-YEAR TIMES SQUARE TAKEOVER WITH “THE TRL DECADE”

“The TRL Decade” takes a fun and provocative look at the iconic MTV video countdown show, “,” which aired for 10 years (1998-2008). Beginning as a programming experiment, TRL became a cultural phenomenon, serving as a catalyst for the explosion of the late 1990’s and launching the careers of new artists including Britney Spears, and many others. New York, NY – July 2, 2013 - VH1 has drafted actress, TV host, businesswoman, wife and mom La La Anthony to continue her mission to have it all for the fourth season of “La La’s Full Court Life” premiering Sunday, July 14 at 10PM.*

As her acting career thrives with roles in the upcoming Hollywood films Think Like A Man Too and Baggage Claim, and TV series including BET’s “Real Husbands of Hollywood” and VH1’s “Single Ladies,” La La continues to prove that she’s unstoppable.
