(SI 2012 No. 1464). 2. None 35 To Agree and Sign the Minutes of the Previous Meeting held on 22nd June 2020. 3. The minutes of the previous meetings were agreed as an accurate record. They were signed by the Chairman. 36 Chairman’s Comments 4. The Chairman feels that the external café style tables currently being used by Quaich customers had produced the appearance that Vision 33 had envisaged in its plans. This may mean that extensive re-design of the area may not be necessary. 37 SCC & GBC Update 5. SCC Cllr. Julie Iles reminded the Council that Active Travel projects should be forwarded to her as soon as possible. 6. Julie Iles told the meeting that Electric Charging Points were going to be installed in Surrey Towns, she had urged that this should be extended to rural areas. -

Nicole is a keen scorer and often wears a white floppy England cricket hat which I gave her. Please be good enough to find the time to chat with her on a Friday night at the club she is a keen runner and business woman in recruitment. Ben her husband is a keen golfer/sportsman and football coach. The support Nicole has given has funded the provision of a greater number of ECB qualified coaches available on club nights. This has greatly helped Chris Smith and Brian Berthoud our best coaches to make sure that all boys and girls receive the best possible coaching from U5’s upward. -

You have entered the Ultra, our 60km off road running challenge. The point to point route is from Haslemere to Dorking along the Greensand Way with a 12 hour cut off period. The postcode to find the start is GU27 2AS, and there will be yellow directional signage to help you find us. Parking is free on Sundays and there are a number of car parks to choose from. In the main centre of Haslemere, you can park at the High Street pay and display car park or at the Chestnut Avenue pay and display car park (better for longer periods). If you want to park close to the train station, or park for a long period of time during the day, Tanners Lane and Weydown Road pay and display car parks are close to the station. River Tillingbourne – Albury Estates Advisory Visit April 2018 Key Findings • The Tillingbourne through the Albury Estate land holdings does support viable wild trout habitat but is severely compromised by impounding structures on both beats. • The move to an unstocked, wild fishery will enable the wild component of the stock to develop. • Some excellent work designed to improve habitat quality has already been undertaken but the scope for further enhancement is huge. • The bottom lake on the Vale End Fishery is unsustainable, fragments river habitats, blocks natural fish migration and locally impacts water quality. Removing the dam and reinstating a natural stream would be a flagship project but would undoubtedly attract external funding and support from government agencies as well as catchment partners. • The WTT can help to prepare a costed project proposal and partner the Estate in helping to deliver a sustainable wild trout fishery at Vale End. 1 1.0 Introduction This report is the output of a site visit to the River Tillingbourne on the Albury Estate in Surrey. The Estate management currently runs a network of still-water game fisheries, primarily stocked with farm-reared rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and occasional brown trout (Salmo trutta). In addition, the Estate offers chalkstream fly fishing opportunities on two separate beats of river which run parallel with the Estate’s stocked trout lakes. The Estate also runs a section of syndicated river fishing immediately upstream of the Weston Fishery which is not included in this report. Historically, the river sections available to paying day rods have been stocked with farm-reared brown trout and the Estate have recently ceased stocking on these two day ticket beats and are looking to develop the wild component of the stock via a programme of improved habitat management. -

EAST HORSLEY NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN 2017 - 2033 ADOPTED VERSION East Horsley Neighbourhood Plan FOREWORD BY CATHERINE CARR Chair of the Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group A considerable amount of work has gone into the preparation of this neighbourhood plan and I would like to thank everyone who gave their time and effort to make it possible, whether by being part of our policy teams or task groups or by helping with the surveys and Open Days that formed a key part of our consultation process. I would also like to thank all the people who took the time to complete our surveys or attended our various meetings and who supplied the views which underpin the policies proposed in this plan. In March 2016 our Village Survey asked the basic question: How do you regard East Horsley as a place to live? No less than 93% of respondents said that it is either a ‘wonderful’ or a ‘good’ place to live. Having spoken with so many people of different ages and backgrounds across East Horsley in connection with the plan I am not at all surprised. So many of us have a great affection for our village and want it to continue to evolve successfully and to remain a great place to live, now and in the future. Accordingly, this plan aims to deliver the following vision for the future of East Horsley in the year 2033, the concluding date for our neighbourhood plan: VISION FOR EAST HORSLEY IN 2033 In 2033 East Horsley thrives as a distinctive and vibrant village. It retains its village feel and characteristic features, including its high-quality and varied housing, its heritage assets and its leafy rural setting. -

This has resulted immediately in a Casual Vacancy. The Borough Council has been informed and will produce the appropriate notice for display on the notice boards and our website.
