The fairs, whether large like the Oktoberfest (October Festival) or small like the Magdalenenfest (Mary of Magdalene Festival) attract many visitors with their typical Munich charm and endearing characteristics. The fairs often come with markets attached and are therefore particularly attractive. At Advent time, many atmospheric Christmas markets, each with their own individual character, invite you to visit them.
