Lewis has had five double digit scoring games so far this season. • Junior Madeleine Philpot is the lone Falcon to start all nine games this season and had a career high 12 points in the game against Santa Clara. She also averages 4.3 rebounds per game.

EARLY RECORDS • Rhaiah Spooner-Knight set a new career record with most field goals made and most field goals attempted on Nov. 14 against Eastern Washington. •Spooner-Knight banked her first career 3 on Dec. 6 in the win against Boise State. • Utah Valley defeated the Bristol Bears Nov. 15, 109-74, the fourth highest scoring game in UVU history. • Against Bristol, overall the UVU field goal percentage was 61 percent, the fifth highest in Utah Valley history. • The Wolverines made 32 free throws, the second highest in UVU history, and tied the school record for free throws attempted in a game with 45. The last record was set against Montana State in 2006.

The Nixon File HEAD COACH CATHY NIXON Cathy Nixon recently completed her 19th year as the head coach of Utah Valley women’s basketball in 2013-14. In four seasons at the Division I level, Nixon produced 12 all-conference performers, one 3-time All-American, one two-time Nixon Year-by-Year GWC Player of the Year, a Defensive Player of the Year, a Newcomer of the Year, and has earned one Coach of the Year award.
