If you haven’t been to Deepwells lately, you’re in for a big surprise. The entire front garden has been beauti- fully restored thanks to the generous donation of Richard J. Kuri, president of R.J.K. Chorus Line Dance Companies Perform to Benefit Breast Cancer

Chorus Line Dance Studio, under the direction of Roseann Cousin, has made it tradition to end each annual production with a routine performed in American Sign Language. This began 17 years ago in honor of Roseann’s daughter, Marissa Nicole, who was born deaf. On May 22, 23, and 24, the 200 members of the Chorus Line Dance Companies ended this year’s annual performance at the Patchogue Theatre with a special tribute to Breast Cancer Awareness. Their chosen song “I Run For Life” by Melissa Etheridge, was performed in American Sign Language by the entire cast. American Cancer Society donat- ed pins and pink ribbons for the girls to wear with their attire. The performances were a true inspiration to all and standing ovations were received after the grand finale. The Chorus Line Dance Companies were invited to repeat this performance at the opening season breakfast for American Cancer Chorus Line Dance Companies perform a special tribute to the Society at the Crest Hollow Country Club in American Cancer Society in American Sign Language. Woodbury on Wednesday, August 6. In lieu of their performance, each dancer also made a contribution to the American Cancer Society making it possible to send a $1,000 donation from the dancers at Chorus Line Dance Studio.

Trish Toback Members of the Month INTERACTIVE FITNESS CENTER July YOU’LL SEE THE DIFFERENCE.

I first joined Energy Fitness 4 years ago, after having a spinal fusion pro- cedure completed. I still had two herniated discs that the doctors also wanted to operate on, but I was determined to find a healthy alternative to surgery and prevent further injury. I began at Energy with Pilates classes, and then participated in my first of many Energy Challenges... and this is where it all began for me. I had the Goal Bug. As I got stonger and more committed to my health, I set more and more goals for myself. I then began personal training 1x/wk, and started to see my hard work come to fruition. The Energy Challenges, like the I Will, Spring into Summer, and Fall Fitness continue to help me set competitive goals and push myself to the limit! I want to thank the staff at Energy for their support, constant motivation, and ongoing education. Even though weight loss was never a main goal, I have lost 35 pounds as a result of living a healthy lifestyle. I am in the best shape of my adult life, feeling stronger and more fit than I have since play- ing competitive sports.“I live my life with Energy!” – Trish Toback Congratulations Trish! 631-862-1737 ● 556 Route 25A ● St. James www.energy-difference.com
