He has judged in many Australian and international wine shows and is a graduate of the Len Evans Tutorial. This is Nick’s third and final year as Chair. Phil Reedman MW – Panel Chair Phil is a wine consultant, and experienced regional and capital city wine show judge. He is currently Chief Judge at the Riverland Wine Show. Lucy Clements – Panel Chair Currently the Operations Director, Premium Wineries ANZ, Accolade Wines, Lucy has judged at numer- ous international, regional and capital city wine shows. Katie Spain Katie is a wine writer for The Advertiser, Sunday Mail and deliciousSA. Katie has previously judged regional wines showing Barossa’s 2019 Provenance class. Tash Mooney South Australian Winemaker, based in Barossa, Tash is an experienced judge, at both a regional and capital city level and is an AWAC instructor. Tim Pelquest-Hunt Tim is a winemaker with Pernod Ricard Barossa. Dux of the 41st Advanced Wine Assessment Course, Tim is a regional and national wine show judge. Phil Lehmann Phil is a Barossa based winemaker with extensive experience across multiple countries. He is an AWAC graduate and guest judge at Barossa’s mini-AWAC course. A tweak to entry requirements has been beneficial, with some intriguing new entrants fighting it out alongside some celebrated stalwarts of this class. The best white wines were simply glorious, compelling reminders to those that understand, and news flashes to those who probably should know, that this place produces some of the most age-worthy white wines on earth. The reds were a strong collection of wines with clear pedigrees, the best entrants showing a compelling narrative arc and obvious lineage through the three wines put forward.
