Treasury Wine Estates Wein U Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) brings together some of the most popular and collected wines from Australia, America, France, Italy and New Zealand. Our treasured brands include Beringer, Penfolds, Lindeman’s, Wolf Blass, Rosemount, Matua, Wynns Coonawarra Estate, Etude and Castello di Gabbiano. With over 11,000 hectares of vineyards, sales totalling over 30 million cases of wine annually, and revenue of approximately AU$1.7 billion, TWE employs over 3,200 winemakers, viticulturists, sales, distribution and support staff across 16 countries - therefore it’s no wonder our people enjoy exciting and diverse career opportunities! It takes a special alchemy for a great wine to come into being: the intensity of an ardent sun, a soft and welcome rain and a rich, generous earth that nurtures the vines to perfect fruit. Above all, it takes the affections of a devoted winemaker to coax the tender grapes to their fleeting glory — harvest time. It is only then, after carefully juggling a delicate balance of science and instinct, that the secrets of the vines, the rhythms of the seasons and the vineyard’s unmistakable perfumes finally yield a truly memorable glass of wine. Such are the origins of each proud member of the brand family that is Treasury Wine Estates today. Dating back to 1843 with the establishment of the Lindeman’s Vineyard in Australia’s Hunter Valley, Penfolds in 1844, and Beringer in 1876 in Napa Valley, USA, our history is vast, our influence global, our pioneers brave and our trailblazers innovative. Our remarkable brands tell unmatched stories of dedication and persistence, and we’re pleased to share them with you in these pages. Who knows, you may even be able to visualise them in our wines! 4 Managing Director – Australia & NZ Angus leads the Sales & Marketing functions across Australia and New Zealand. He has many years of international experience in the global wine industry and has held senior leadership roles at Casella Wines and Brown Forman. After joining TWE as Managing Director of the Rosemount Brand Business Unit, Angus focussed on setting and driving the strategic direction of the BBU with a clear focus on profitable growth and the development of the Rosemount, New Zealand and Victorian brands portfolios. During this time he transformed our New Zealand branded portfolio from a 700,000 case business to a 2million case business, and the Victorian portfolio also achieved double digit growth within two years. Chief Human Resources Officer Megan joined TWE in January 2013 as Chief Human Resources Officer. Before joining TWE, Megan held various HR Leadership roles within the Financial Services and Banking sector, most recently as the General Manager People & Culture at Business Bank at the NAB. Prior to this Megan spent 15 years with General Electric in both the United States and Australia, most recently as the Vice President Human Resources at GE Capital Australia & New Zealand where she led the HR team through significant periods of organisational growth and change. Chief Legal Officer Prior to joining Treasury Wine Estates’ senior management team, Paul was Chief Legal Officer and Company Secretary of Foster’s Group Limited. He has practised as a solicitor for law firms in Australia, Asia and the United Kingdom. He has previously acted in senior management roles for Southcorp Limited in Australia and the United States. 7 Chief Marketing Officer Simon has more than 18 years’ experience in the global drinks industry, where he has held a variety of senior roles with a focus on international brand- building and strategic marketing. Immediately prior to his appointment as TWE’s Chief Marketing Officer, Simon held the post of Managing Director for TWE’s Penfolds and Wolf Blass Brand Business Units. Since joining Fosters Group in 1997, Simon has held positions of increasing scope and responsibility. He was previously Marketing Director ANZ, responsible for all portfolio, brand and category marketing strategy and execution, at TWE. He also held the position of General Manager Wine ANZ, Fosters Group, Global Brand Director – Wolf Blass & Rosemount and numerous other senior marketing roles. Chief Supply Officer Bob joins TWE with extensive experience in leading and optimising complex supply chains across a diverse range of industries, and a proven track record of building efficient and commercially focused teams. Bob started his supply chain career with Sara Lee’s Household and Personal Care business in the United Kingdom before moving to ICI paints as their European Supply Chain Director, where he also held the position of Managing Director of the UK and Ireland Paints business. Bob worked as Group Supply Chain Director for Premier Foods Plc, and was most recently the CEO of Hovis Ltd. Chief Financial officer Prior to this appointment, Tony held senior executive positions at a range of Australian and international companies. As CFO at Foster’s Group Ltd he oversaw TWE’s successful demerger and establishment as a standalone business. He has also held CFO posts at Arrium (One Steel) Ltd and Orica Global Explosives, based in Denver USA. Tony brings to TWE more than twenty years of experience in senior finance, IT, marketing and strategy roles, and has also held the position of President of the G100, Australia’s peak body for CFOs. He is passionate about wine, and the wine 8 industry, and has a proven track record of delivering financial improvement and shareholder value. 9 Our pioneers include such legacy winemakers as Henry J. Lindeman, who first planted vines in the Lower Hunter Valley in 1843, and Mary Penfold, dating back to 1844, and her remarkable contribution to winemaking in Australia. And there’s Jacob and Frederick Beringer in the US, along with Andrea Sbarboro and the Asti winery dating back to the 1880s. Even further back in time is our 12th Century Castello di Gabbiano vineyard that has been producing astounding Chianti for 1,000 years. And today, our trailblazers, such as acclaimed winemaker Margo Van Staaveren of Chateau St. Jean and Bill and Ross Spence of New Zealand with their country’s first ever sauvignon blanc, continue to surprise and astound. Whatever corner of the earth our wines come from, whatever their vintage, we’re intensely proud of the legacies and our people that have created them, and of those who continue to perpetuate our remarkable winemaking story. 10 Here at TWE we believe in creating a culture that delivers sustainable growth, for our people, our business and our customers. We have a passion for wine, and that is reflected in our behaviour and attitude in everything we do. In order to achieve this growth, we look to four key behaviours: Focus, Belief, Trust and Collaboration. We welcome new blood, enthusiasm and fresh insight; we look forward to what you could bring and sharing with you what we know. At TWE, wine is our thing. We are all attracted to the opportunity to be part of a distinctly wine-driven culture, yet make our presence felt as individuals. And what makes us all the more special and super-charged about what we do, is that we can do it with a common understanding from different places; places we know and love, places we can feel in our bones and taste in our wines. TWE’s working environment thrives on innovation, continuous improvement and commercial achievement and that’s what we look for in our people. We also look for people who possess a level of passion and ambition in all they do. We create and maintain an inspiring workplace that captures and develops our people’s potential and provides career opportunities locally and globally. High performance is recognised and rewarded through performance-based Rewards and Recognition Schemes. The TWE Let’s Celebrate! program provides recognition for those who shine, encourages employees and recognises significant or outstanding achievements and excellent service of any colleague, from any department, in any region in the world. Recognition is an important driver of employee satisfaction, engagement and performance. When employees have a win, we’re going to celebrate it! Employees can be nominated for a “Shout Out” or “I’m Grapeful” award, which reward their contribution to the business. We also recognise loyalty to TWE in the form of “Vintage” awards, which thank individuals for their commitment and service to the company in five-year increments. TWE is committed to supporting development that builds both individual and organisational capability. We support and encourage employees to be proactive in managing their development. All employees (excluding those covered by collective agreements) are expected to have a performance and development plan which covers key performance objectives, role responsibilities, employee behaviours and development actions. 11 Our employee share plan, Share Cellar, launched in March 2015. Share Cellar is available for employees to participate in becoming shareholders and co-owners in TWE as we strive to become the world’s most celebrate wine company. Using some of your after-tax pay over the plan year, TWE will facilitate the acquisition of TWE shares on your behalf. If you continue to be part of the TWE team on vesting date, TWE will give you one additional matched share for every two purchased shares that you hold in the plan. Applications will be open annually for around three weeks in March. We have a variety of Employee Social Clubs that are conducted at a state and site level. For a weekly or monthly contribution, employees and their families have access to things such as discounted events, free tickets and preferential treatment for restricted shows. (not available in all regions) Our Employee Assistance Program offers all permanent employees and their families a free, professional and confidential counselling service. The service can assist employees and their families with personal and work related issues and is offered independently through IPS Worldwide.

Drink “Small ” : Artisanal Cellar Selections - Small Producers with Huge Flavor - White 152 ........ Soave Classico, Cantina del Castello, “Cru Pressoni”, Veneto, Italy, 2011 .......... 47.00 A STUNNING and VIBRANT wine from our friend Arturo Strocchetti...from the land of sunshine and ancient Volcanoes comes this brilliant Soave. This is from the single-vineyard (cru) of Pressoni, where a touch more clay in the soil gives the wine a depth and richness that is not normally found in a Soave. With aromas of marzipan, melon, citrus and chalky mineral, the palate delivers an amazing density and flavors of lemon preserves, sweet herbs, and papaya. The finish is rich, round and honeyed balanced by vibrant acidity. 058 ........ Viognier, Georges Vernay, “Pied de Samson”, Collines Rhodaniennes, 2010 ..... 69.00 It was largely due the efforts of Georges Vernay that the majestic and mysteriously delicious vineyards of Condrieu in the Northern Rhone have survived troubled times and at mid 20th century there were less than 40 acres left of the magical Viognier grapes planted - there are now over 300 acres! It is now Georges daughter Christine who makes the wines and tends the vines with her husband Paul. The “Pied de Samson” vineyard lies just outside and upslope from the Condrieu appellation. Gorgeous fresh-cut peach and apricot notes are offset by bright twinges of kaffir lime and chamomile. The long, fennel-tinged finish is brisk and lively. Floral pineapple, white peach flavors possess dollops of mineral tones and fine acidity. Long and fine, mineral and floral. Red 198 ........ COLOUR As a five year-old, dense vivid red—impenetrable almost to the rim. NOSE Unmistakably Grange—formic, ripe, pungent, confronting.Core : darker elements—soy/cola/peat/ coal-dust/Dutch black liquorice with sesame/sea-weed/quince paste. Beneath: coffee-grind/mocha/ bitter chocolate (from oak?).Above: African spices coupled with a fleeting and appealing glacial waft. PALATE GRANGE At once, balanced and accessible; fresh and tight. A structural and textural continuum—no beginning or end, no gaps. Complete. In an attempt to define the palate profile...Flavours : dates, SHIRAZ persimmon, roasted nuts … freshly baked pecan-pie/Portuguese custard tart.Oak: omnipresent, yet neither prominent nor ostentatious—completely assimilated. Tannins: neither obstructive nor aggressive, yet effortlessly conveying flavours. Yes, maturation of 21 months in barrel and three 2007 years in bottle, has moulded quite the structural and tactile Grange package. VINEYARD REGIONS Grange is arguably Australia’s most celebrated wine and is officially listed as a Heritage Icon of South Australia. Grange Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and Magill Estate, South Australia. boasts an unbroken line of vintages from the experimental 1951 VINTAGE CONDITIONS and clearly demonstrates the synergy between Shiraz and the soils and climates of South Australia. Penfolds Grange utilises The 2007 vintage was challenging with low winter temperatures threatening severe frosts and accompanied by low winter rainfall. Dry conditions persisted throughout the growing season and fully-ripe, intensely-flavoured and textured Shiraz grapes. The unusually high summer temperatures followed, which placed pressure on water resources and result is a unique Australian style that is now recognised as one fruit exposure.
