Saint Damien was ordained a priest in this cathedral, in 1864, two months after his arrival in Honolulu. After stopping in the Cathedral bookstore, we continue to St. Patricks. Here we view a collection of artifacts belonging to Saint Damien including his carved meerschaum pipe, guava walking stick, vestments, chalice, and his pre dieu (prayer kneeler).
