He was preoccupied. “Honey?” I repeated, adding more urgency to my tone of voice. He looked over. Smiled sheepishly. “What’s up?” “Marco’s fever is down. I think he’s basically over this thing. He’s asleep. Anyway, I was thinking of getting some fresh air.” He muted the television. “Good idea. It’s tough when they’re sick, huh? Kids. He’s okay, though, huh?” “It’s just a virus.” “Yeah, well, take some time, you’ve been carrying the load. And if you’re going to the store- “ “Actually, I think I’ll go down to the marina.” He laughed and shook his head. “Ever since you bought that boat… I think Marco has some competition as the favorite child in this household.” He frowned. “You’re not taking it out, are you? Looks kind of gloomy out.” I made a smile. “Just want to make sure it’s well secured, check the ropes and all.” He was back with the game. He winced at some error made by his preferred team. “Uh-huh. Okay.” I stepped back, turned, and walked down the hall. The door to Marco’s room was ajar. I paused to look inside. I almost couldn’t do otherwise because the other voice in my head, the beaten-down, repressed human voice, was alive and screaming and screaming at me, begging me, pleading <No! No! No!> Marco was still asleep. -

This chapter of the PSCS aims to help any new GMs out there who don‘t have anyone locally they can turn to for advice on some of the common or stereotypical problems with a planar game. We‘ve tried to cover the major ‗issues‘ that creep up for bashers lost in a sea of clueless, and of course if you have a question that isn‘t answered here, please feel free to drop by Planewalker.com and we‘ll be glad to give some extra advice. Preparing the Game Starting advice for a Planescape campaign is the same as it is for any other game really: Define what sort of a campaign you‘re looking to run. A planar campaign can have as wide or as narrow a scope as you like, and any sort of tone that you care to adopt. -

He hasn’t yet. At the top of the stairs, she paused. “Mommy?” Her three-year-old daughter was standing in the doorway to her room. “Go back to sleep, sweetie,” Catherine said. “I had a bad dream. The bad faeries chased me.” “The bad faeries won’t get you. You’re too good.” “Can I sleep with you and daddy?” Catherine thought quickly. If she woke Max up, he would realize she was gone. Emily always slept in the car. And she probably wouldn’t remember this anyway. “I’m going out. Do you want to come, sweetheart?” Emily nodded and ran to grab her teddy bear. “Let’s be really, really quiet,” Catherine said, “like good faeries.” Emily nodded gravely and rose up on her tiptoes, and the two made their way out to the car. True20 Adventure Roleplaying Trademark License FAQ Q: Do I have to submit my products for approval? A: No, you do not. We've tried to make the license easy to use. If you just follow the terms, you shouldn't have any problems. Q: Can I use this license for electronic products other than PDFs, like character generators? A: No, this license is only for the publication of printed books and PDF products. Any other sort of products must be licensed from Green Ronin on an individual basis. Q: Why can't I put True20 or True in the title? A: Green Ronin has established a naming pattern in its previous True20 books and we'd like that pattern to remain unique to official releases. Q: When can I start publishing using this license? A: Any time after May 12, 2008. Q: Can I use this license to do product in other languages? A: Yes, you can. The only additional limitation is that you must follow the terminology used in the appropriate True20 corebook if it exists in the language you're going to use. For example, Wyrd Edizione publishes True20 in Italy. If you want to do Italian language True20 material, you must follow the translation standards of Wyrd's version of the core rulebook. This is to ensure that terminology remains consistent in each language. Q: What should the Section 15 of the Open Game License in my product include? A: For starters it must include the entirety of the Section 15 from the Revised Edition of True20 Adventure Roleplaying. -
