Education is a very complex institution because it contains different issues such as political, economic, social and cultural. Durkheim argued that education plays an important role in the socialization of children because children gain an understanding of the common values in society, uniting a multitude of separate individuals. Schooling enables children to internalize the social rules that contribute to the functioning of society. So, as institution education plays many roles such as transmit of values of a society or transformation of values of a society from one generation to the other. During education process (formal and non-formal education) individuals learn what is ‘to be judge’ and what is ‘to be accepted’, what is ‘to be love’ and ‘to be hate’, that it converted into the primary agency to promote the social solidarity or conflict, violence and extremism. This article will focus on the descriptive analyze the causes of ‘Hate speech’, social conflicts, violent extremism in society and how to combat through education process by forming counter and alternative narratives. Ramush Haradinaj, also known as "Smajl", was born on 3 July 1968 in Glodjane/ Gllogjan* in the municipality of Decani/Deçan in the province of Kosovo. 2. At all times relevant to this indictment, Ramush Haradinaj was a commander in the Ushtria Çlirimtare e Kosovës (UÇK), otherwise known as the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). In this position, Ramush Haradinaj had overall command of the KLA forces in one of the KLA operational zones, called Dukagjin, in the western part of Kosovo bordering upon Albania and Montenegro. He was one of the most senior KLA leaders in Kosovo. 3. The Dukagjin Operational Zone encompassed the municipalities of Pec/Pejë, Decani/Deçan, Dakovica/Gjakovë, and part of the municipalities of Istok/Istog and Klina/Klinë. As such, the villages of Glodjane/Gllogjan, Dasinovac/Dashinoc, Dolac/Dollc, Ratis/Ratishë, Dubrava/Dubravë, Grabanica/Grabanicë, Locane/Lloçan, Babaloc/Baballoq, Rznic/Irzniq, Pozar/Pozhare, Zabelj/Zhabel, Zahac/Zahaq, Zdrelo/Zhdrellë, Gramocelj/Gramaqel, Dujak/ Dujakë, Piskote/Piskotë, Pljancor/ Plançar, Nepolje/Nepolë, Kosuric/Kosuriq, Lodja/Loxhë, Barane/Baran, the Lake Radonjic/Radoniq area and Jablanica/Jabllanicë were under his command and control.

    Reforms and Governance within the Higher Education System of Kosovo By Granit Jakupi Submitted to Central European University Department of Economics In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Arts in Economic Policy in Global Markets Supervisor: Professor Lajos Bokros CEU eTD Collection Budapest, Hungary 2013 i ABSTRACT A number of studies worldwide, for several decades, have placed considerable importance on higher education when analyzing the potential that this system has in improving the economic development and mitigating the poverty among developing countries. This thesis investigates how the higher education system is affecting the unemployment level among educated workforce. It has been structured using a descriptive study design by mapping out the issues and providing solutions from the perspective of policy makers responsible for the higher education system. The theoretical framework has been derived based on institutional theories of higher education and literature on human capital. The core findings from this study resulted from extensive field research and analysis of statistics. The results suggest that the higher education system in Kosovo is poorly structured and it is identified as the main contributor to the unemployment level among educated workforce. Additionally, those findings suggest that the root, risks, and response is located to central institutions and it is in their hands to tackle the issue of jobless graduates within the country of Kosovo. Finally, the policy recommendations are formed following the data suggestions and they represent joint efforts of higher education institutions to undertake policy reforms in restructuring and improving the system. Mirëpo, për shkak të përmbysjeve të mëdha që sollën vitet nëntëdhjetë, puna ime në këtë projekt pati ndërprerje dhe u mbajt në këmbë me një ritëm tepër të ngadaltë. Këtij projekti studimor iu riktheva me përqendrimin e duhur vetëm pas vitit 2001, kur u miratua si tezë e doktoranturës në Fakultetin e Filologjisë të Universitetit të Prishtinës. Idetë e hershme dhe materialet e mbledhura nëpër vite, qenë një ndihmesë e jashtëzakonshme, për ta intensifikuar punën në këtë projekt dhe për të sublimuar rezultatet e punës studimore për një periudhë dyvjeçare. Mirëpo, finalizimit të këtij projekti, sërish i dolën ngatërresa në rrugë, të cilat jo vetëm e shtynë mbrojtjen publike të tij për dy vjet të plota, por ndikuan që të bëja edhe disa plotësime sasiore të studimit, si dhe disa ndryshime metodologjike, të cilat nuk më ishin dukur shumë domethënëse për trajtim. 7 Versioni që po botohet, ka përjetuar disa shkurtime, që janë të natyrshme. Por, pamja e përftuar e sonetit në poezinë shqipe, besoj se mbetet mjaft e plotë dhe paraqet një pikënisje thelbësore edhe për studimet e mëtejshme në këtë lëmi.
