Elvis Presley’s 8 January Birthday Elvis Presley was born in 1935. He was known as the ‘King of Rock and Roll’ and also ‘Elvis the Pelvis’ for his raunchy dance style. He died in 1977 and many people still take a pilgrimage to his home, Graceland.
