Elvis Presley’s 8 January Birthday Elvis Presley was born in 1935. He was known as the ‘King of Rock and Roll’ and also ‘Elvis the Pelvis’ for his raunchy dance style. He died in 1977 and many people still take a pilgrimage to his home, Graceland. Entertainment It’s not the month to be going out on trips due to the weather, so maybe you could invest in an outside entertainer for the day. Get in an Elvis impersonator and get your home rocking! There are many entertainers who dress and sing like Elvis. If you can’t stretch to a singer, get a CD of his music and organise a morning of Elvis music.
