RESUMEN DE PRENSA 17 de abril de 2018 LA COMPAÑÍA DE CARGA ASL ESPAÑA ECHA EL CIERRE 17/04/2018 ASL Airlines Spain, antigua Panair, una aerolínea de carga española con sede en Madrid y dedicada a la operación de vuelos dentro de la red europea de la compañía de paquetería TNT Express, está a punto de echar el cierre. Actualidad Aeroespacial Según el Sindicato Español de Pilotos de Líneas Aéreas (Sepla), que “duda de los motivos reales del cierre inminente de la aerolínea de carga ASL España, la decisión afecta a más de 160 trabajadores entre los que hay 50 pilotos”. El cierre de ASL España se viene fraguando desde que este grupo irlandés adquiriera en 2016 la compañía de transporte de carga aérea TNT, entonces propietaria de Panair. Esta operación, autorizada por la Comisión Europea de la Competencia, fue un obligado paso previo para la adquisición de TNT por parte del grupo norteamericano de transporte de carga Federal Express, señala el sindicato de pilotos. ASL España echa el cierre después de tan sólo dos años de actividad bajo propiedad del grupo irlandés, en contra de la promesa del Parlamento Europeo, que aseguró que la venta de Panair no alteraría los derechos de los trabajadores en España. Our annual World Airliner F Census, built on Flight Fleets Analyzer data, reveals that the distribution of the global fleet has passed a milestone. A year ago, North America – always the biggest fleet region – led the in-service jet table with 30% of the global total, ahead of the Asia-Pacific and China, with 29%. This year those percentages are reversed. Today, Asia-Pacific, including China, com- mands 30% of the global passenger jet fleet, with North America at just 29%. China alone has 14%. The movement has been dramatic. A dec- ade ago, North America’s dominant share was 36%, with Asia-Pacific and China at just 20%. The other mature market, Europe, has seen its share decline from 27% to 25% in the same period. North America and Europe have seen their jet fleets grow by just 0.4% and 1.2% respec- tively per year over the past 10 years, reflect- ing capacity discipline and a focus on fleet AirTeamImages replacement. During the same period, China’s 787 is the seventh most-flown mainline type, with deliveries averaging 11 units per month fleet has grown by 2,000 aircraft – an annual rate of increase of more than 11%.
