Health I & II To all Health students, and FACS You have been working hard this year learning about the importance of taking care of your health physically, as well as mentally/emotionally, and socially. Therefore, this next assignment is going to be a Google Slides presentation about a disease of your choice. ● Some of you have already chosen the disease you will be learning about, if you have not chosen a disease, go to Google and look up diseases and pick one. ● You will need to research and include in your slides the description of the disease, sign/symptoms, tell how it is spread (if it can be spread), how it can be prevented, as well as the treatment options if there are any. ● You also need to include how it would affect you and your family physically, emotionally, and socially if you were to contract the disease. ● You need to have at least 15 slides in your presentation. You may include pictures, statistics, and facts about the disease as well. ● You must also include three different websites that you got your information from and include the links at the end of your slides. ● All of this information will be posted on Google classroom as well. ● You have two weeks to work on and complete this project. It is due April 20th. ● You will share your presentation with me when you are finished. ● Have fun with this and be creative!! If you do not have internet access, write an essay instead of doing the google slides. FACS: Go to https://www.choosemyplate.gov/. Use the information to help you plan a healthy meal for your family. **HEALTHY means the meal includes 1 food from each food group.** Plan must include recipe(s) and a grocery list of ingredients needed and ingredients you already have on hand. Bonus points for actually preparing or helping prepare the meal! Tiger.net I have removed projects and unblocked quizzes and tests.
