Abstract Today, many types of tourism have increased and also places that belong to them have diversified.

In this study, seven echinoderm species are reported for the first time from the Levantine coast of Turkey. These are, five ophiroid species; Amphipholis squamata, Amphiura chiajei, Amphiura filiformis, Ophiopsila aranea, and Ophiothrix quinquemaculata and two echinoid species; Echinocyamus pusillus and Stylocidaris affinis. Turkey is surrounded by four seas with different hydrographical characteristics and Turkish Straits System (Çanakkale Strait, Marmara Sea and İstanbul Strait) serve both as a biological corridor and barrier between the Aegean and Black Seas. The number of echinoderm species in the coasts of Turkey also varies due to the different biotic environments of these seas. There are 14 echinoderm species reported from the Black Sea, 19 species from the İstanbul Strait, 51 from the Marmara Sea, 71 from the Aegean Sea and 42 from the Levantine coasts of Turkey. Among these species, Asterias rubens, Ophiactis savignyi, Diadema setosum, and Synaptula reciprocans are alien species for the Turkish coasts. Abstract: Topography represented by high resolution digital elevation models are able to inform past and present morphological process on the terrain. High resolution LiDAR data taken by the General Directorate of Map at the surroundings of the Bergama city shows great opportunities to understand the morphological process on alluvial fan on which the city is located and the flood plain of Bakırçay river near the alluvial fan. In this paper the LiDAR data collected in 2015 have been used to create DEM’s to understand the geomorphological evolution of the alluvial fan and the flood plain around it. Since the proximal roots and medial parts of the alluvial fan have been the scene for a long human settlement most topographical traces of the morphological process have been distorted. Nevertheless, the traces of past and present morphological process at the distal fan which consist the contact zone with the flood plain are very clear on the DEM created from LiDAR data. The levees and some old courses of Bergama and Bakırçay rivers have been shown on the maps which are also important to understand the ancient roads which follows these levees.

We were so disappointed that so many of you were unable to travel with us in 2020. Our greatest pleasure is to share the destinations we have grown to love so deeply with you our wonderful guests. I had the pleasure and privilege of speaking with many of you personally during the 2020 season. I was warmed and touched by your support, your understanding, your patience, and your generosity. All of us here at PST are extremely grateful and heartened by your enthusiasm and eagerness to travel with us when it becomes possible. PST is a small, flexible, and dynamic company.
