Description This course covers speed change, powershift and hydrostatic transmissions. The student identifies transmission operation, traces power flow and diagnoses problems. The student performs disassembly, repairing, reassembly, testing and adjusting of various transmissions. The transmissions covered in the course include 8 & 15 speed and the John Deere 8000 series powershift transmission. TA, International Harvester Hydrostatic and the Case-IH Magnum transmission. White 3 speed and the Case RPS-34. Sunstrand/Eaton hydrostatic.
