BY JASON THOMPSON Gulf Breeze News [email protected] The Tiger Point 8-year-old All Star team got off to a strong start at the Dizzy Dean State Tournament this past weekend in Seminole, winning all four of its pool play games. Tiger Point won their six- team pool and received a first round bye in the single elimina- tion portion of the tournament, which began Monday. A recap from that half of the tournament will be in the July 26 issue of the Gulf Breeze News. Tiger Point 18, Crestview 10 The Tigers rallied from an 8- 1 deficit, scoring five in the fourth and seven in the fifth to beat Crestview Saturday. Stephen Huggins and Nicholas Myers both had four hits and scored three times, while Jack Martin had four hits and scored twice.
