Driving vintage cars “all the way along Como Lake...” Program

• SEREGNO (Via Milano 35)

• Meeting (at 9:15): identification and allocation of the vintage cars. Practical training through the town’s streets.

• Departure (at 9:45): departure to Lenno, towards Como Lake. Accessing Como Lake’s branch from Cernobbio.

• LENNO

• Aperitif (at 11:00): and walk by the lake’s front towards Golfo di Venere. Possibily of visiting Villa Balbianello’s park, belonging to FAI (Italian Art Fundation) from Tremezzina.

• COLICO

• Lunch (at 13:00): park the cars in Colico’s main square. Lunch in the main square at Blue River and walk by the lake’s front enjoying the beautiful view of the valley of Valchiavenna.

• VARENNA

• Attendance certificate delivery (at 15.30 ): Walk along the lake’s front at Varenna and through the old town, the most beautiful amongst Lecce’s towns. Boat trip to Bellagio.

• BELLAGIO

• SEREGNO (Via Milano 35)

• Farewell (at 18.00): car return and final greetings.

Take “L enno” exit, in the Stop sign turn right ss. 340 Regina towards Menaggio

Continue straight ahead on the ss. 340 Regina until Menaggio

Avoid the long tunnel by turning right towards “Menaggio Lungolago” In the traffic light turn right towards “Menaggio centro”, drive through Menaggio and the Lake’s front (Lungolago)

Exit at “Menaggio” stay on the right and drive by the lake until “Colico”

Continue skirting the lake towards “ Sondrio”

At “Musso” take the exit to the right to avoid the tunnel and drive through “Musso “and “Pianello del Lario” towns

Drive through “Dongo , Gravedona, Domaso “ towns

Drive from Como Lake’s side to Lecco Lake’s side Pass the train level cross , after the Stop turn righr towards “Milano, Lecco, COLICO,” works in progress – drive towards “C OLICO”

STOP turn left towards “Colico”, after ESSO petrol station turn right towards “IMBARCADERO” (pier) The road turns left, after the STOP turn right towards “Motel RISI”

Entrer the Lake Front pedestrian walk way. The Lake remains on your left.

Depart from Colico’s square

At the Stop sign, turn left towards “Varenna”

Drive through “Dervio” and “Bellano” towns

Always drive towards Varenna

After the entrance sign to “Perledo” CAUTION!: series of old tunnels

In 2°tunnel there is a dangerous turn to the left

After 3rd tunnel turn left towards “Varenna”, Perledo, Lungolago”

After the bridge, turn right following the sign to "BENVENUTI A VARENNA"

Once in Varenna park the cars in the parking place in front of the pier of “Piazza della Libertà”

Departure: pier to “Bellagio”

Drive your way out of Bellagio staying on the Lecco’s side of the lake, towards “Lecco”

At Lecco take the highway “MI – Lecco” towards Milano

Two lane highways becomes three lanes

Take the exit to “SEREGNO - SAN SALVATORE” ( white sign on the road)

Drive towards the center , pass the turnabout and continue straight on

At the traffic light, pass the turnabout and continue straight ahead

Drive towards the center, at the traffic light turn left towards “Desio, Milano”, new traffic light drive straight towards “Desio, Milano”

Pass the turnabout and drive straight ahead

At traffic light turn right towards “Centro” (center)

New traffic light, turn right towards “Centro”

After the traffic light , stop at the Alfa Romeo Autovar ca r dealer - ARRIVAL

Return the cars – END OF EVENT
