Gold Crown Yes, you're right. The audience was overdubbed. I don't think they were even from a Seeds show. I think the recording took place in 1968. There were two recordings, the first was in front of a studio audience. The band thought the feel was lacking in the first one so they recorded a performance again but this time without an audience who were later added for this release.All three performances can be found on the Ace/Big Beat CD reissue. The original performance of Raw & Alive minus audience is a stunner and the best of the three (& sound quality-wise, way better than the original LP)
