Sawflies (Hymenoptera, Symphyta) from Unterwalden, Central Switzerland. Correction to previously published records.

Zusammenfassung

In früheren Arbeiten über Blattwespen aus Unterwalden (Kanton Obwalden und Nidwalden, Zentral schweiz) sind vom Verfasser zwei Arten falsch bestimmt worden ( Scolioneura tirolensis ENSLIN als Ne- pionema helvetica BENSON, und Pristiphora bensoni LINDQ VIST als P. friesei KNW.).

Namensänderungen betreffen zwei weitere Arten: Heterarthrus cuneifrons ALTENHOFER & ZOMBO- R I1987 (in LISTON & PETER 1982 als Heterarthrus sp. "Af aufgeführt), ist als neu für die Schweiz anzu sehen, und Pamphilius ignymontiensis LACOURT ist der richtige Name für die in LISTON 1980 und LISTON & PiJI HR 1981 erwähnten "P. aurantiacu?-Exemplare.

In the years since records of Symphyta collected in Unterwalden (Obwalden and Nid walden, Central Switzerland) were first published (LISTON 1980, LISTON & PE TER 1981, 1982), two of the species identified by LISTON have been found to be wrongly identified, while changes in nomenclature require that the identity of two other species be clarified. The correct determinations are given below.

Pamphilius ignymontiensis LACOURT

All the specimens recorded by LISTON 1980 and LISTON & PETER 1981 as P. aurantiacus (GIRAUD) belong to this species. The real P. aurantiacus ( = neglectus ZADDACH) requires confirmation as occurring in Switzerland. See LACOURT 1973 and ACHTERBERG & AARTSEN 1986 for more detail.

Heterarthrus cuneifrons ALTENHOFER & ZOMBORI1987

This is the species recorded by LISTON & PETER 1982 as Heterarthrus sp. "Af (sensu ALTENHOFER 1980). It can be regarded as a new addition to the Swiss fau- nal list.

Scolioneura tirolensis (ENSLIN)

The specimens recorded an Nepionema helvetica BENSON from the Trübsee, Obwal den, are S. tirolensis. My error was detected by Dr. A. There is no reason to doubt the identification ofN. Helveti ca determined by B. PETER, from Ritomsee, Ticino, mentioned in the same paper. BENSON 1941 mentions the occurrence of S. tirolensis in the Val d’H6rens, Valais.

Pristiphora bensoni LINDQVIST

Wrongly recorded as P.friesei (KNW.) by LISTON 1980. P. friesei is attached to La rix, which does not occur at the Trübsee, Obwalden, while bensoni is probably asso- ciated with Salix. P. bensoni is otherwise known only from the High Alps of Valais and Graubünden (BENSON 1955,1961).
