We find here many producers of dairy, meat and sausages, vegetables and fruit, bakery products and sweets. Ecologically clean areas are favorable for growing edible plants and animal breeding. The capital structure of the industry is diverse. There are international companies operating in the opolskie region including the world’s largest corporations such as Danone, Froneri or Mondelez, as well as companies with only do- mestic capital (family-owned butchers, bakeries, and manufacturers of sweets, etc.).
