    Los centros de Almirall que recibieron el certificado en 2004 vuelven a ser reconocidos y, a ellos, se suma el nuevo centro de I+D de Sant Feliu ALMIRALL RENUEVA EL CERTIFICADO DE GESTIÓN MEDIOAMBIENTAL ISO 14001:2004 Barcelona, 17 de julio de 2007.- Laboratorios Almirall, S.A renueva la certificación ISO 14001:2004 que ya le concedió en 2004 la sección española del Bureau Veritas Certification S.A.U., entidad vinculada a la International Organization for Standarization (ISO). La certificación de esta norma internacional, que reconoce la calidad del sistema de gestión medioambiental de la compañía, avala el compromiso de Almirall con el medio ambiente y asegura el cumplimiento de la legislación vigente y la responsabilidad de mejora continua. En esta recertificación se incorpora el nuevo centro de I+D de la compañía, ubicado en Sant Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona). Al mismo tiempo, los centros de Almirall que recibieron el certificado ISO de gestión medioambiental en 2004 han vuelto a ser validados. Éstos son: las plantas farmacéuticas situadas en Sant Andreu de la Barca y Sant Just Desvern; las plantas químicas de Sant Andreu de la Barca y Sant Celoni, el centro de I+D de Sant Just Desvern y la Sede Central de Barcelona. El aspecto que se ha valorado en los centros de Almirall que han recibido el certificado ISO 14001:2004 ha sido el sistema de gestión medioambiental de toda la organización dentro del programa de mejora continua de la compañía. Dicho sistema aporta orden y coherencia en materia medioambiental mediante la distribución de los recursos, el reparto de las responsabilidades, así como la evaluación continua de las prácticas, procedimientos y métodos de trabajo dentro de un marco de respeto al medio ambiente.
