6.1 NEED FOR STUDY: Skin has been described as the mirror of the body. It reflects the physical, mental and psychological state of the individual. Acne is the one of the commonest skin disorder. It has been estimated that 70% of the population have some clinically evident acne at some stage during adolescence1. Acne patient experience shame, embracement and lack of confidence, impaired social contact and a significant problem with unemployment. Severe acne may be related to increase danger and anxiety2. Acne is blemish, everyone tries to get rid of it in one way or the other.
