Top 10 Pokemon Starters Whelp… Guess It's Time to Tick Off Half The Top 10 Pokemon Starters Whelp… Guess it’s time to tick off half the planet. We all have our favorite starter Pokemon, and all of them are great in their own special way (Unless they are a Gen 2 starter) Nevertheless debates rage on in all corners of the earth as to which starter is truly the best. Well today we are going to settle the debate once and for all!! Even If it gets us cancelled from the Backlash. Here is the Top 10 Starter Pokemon! #10 Venusaur (Out of Character) Wow… Really? number 10? I really need to read these scripts before I get on the air. You guys are playing with some real fire putting a Gen 1 starter this low on the list… (In Character) Starting off this list is the misunderstood odd child of the Gen 1 Starters Venusaur. Being a heavy tank and always reliable member of any team its on. Venusaur is the first pick for anyone who didn’t want to have an awesome dragon or or cannon mounted turtle on their team. Which to be fair was very few people. Nevertheless Venusaur always has and always will be an amazing addition to any trainers team. Oh and did I forget to mention that it has a mega evolution? #9 Emboar Lacking the speed of Serperior, and the Awesome abilities of Samurott. One would think Emboar would be the last choice. But this juggernaut of a Pokemon is able to both tank and dish out heavy impact blows at a moments notice. While Emboar is substantially slower than his previous FIRE/fighting counterpart Infernape, Emboar is a marketable improvement with his more robust defense, and towering attack power. #8 Swampert Swampert is a start that is a solid choice for any team. Special training in it’s attack can make it a destructive force to be reckoned with and if you add in its ability to Mega evolve. You are turning and above average starter into a beefy brawler capable of one shotting most pokemon. #7 Infernape The combo master of Gen 4 is a mighty beast. Lacking the lowered speed that Emboar has while maintaining a formidable attack strength Infernape is Emboar serperior in many ways, Hence his placement on the list. Also let’s not forget that any Infernape with Close Combat is a challenge to even the most seasoned trainers. From the Sumo Wrestler and the combo Breaker we move on to the Ring busting Pro-Wrestler #6 Incineroar This title holding Wrestling Starter is the premium starter from the Alolan region. Subverting your expectation of Incineroar being a fighting type with his dark secondary class. (Which is a slight knock against wrestling as it is a spectacle more than an actual fight). He is both fast and durable with stunningly effective attacks. Also just as a bonus he has one of the most enjoyably spectacular personalities of all of the Starters #5 Torterra The Moving fortress that is Torterra, If trained right he is a nigh unstoppable Starter. He has the highest natural defense of all of the starter pokemon. He’s biggest weakness is of course his x4 weakness to Ice. But, against any and every other Pokemon he is a beast to take down. Add on a Grassy Terrain and a Solarbeam and Torterra will be one of the hardest starters to defeat. #4 Sceptile Aside from being one of the coolest starters, he is the second fastest starter in all of pokemon. Add that with his high special attack and you’ve already got a potent combination. With the proper training to increase his attack and speed even more and you’ve got a very powerful starter on your hands. Throw mega evolution in the mix and you’ve got perhaps the best grass type out there. #3 Blastoise Alright, Two cannons strapped to a massive humanoid turtle should be enough to earn a spot at number 3 but let me give you a couple reasons why Blastoise is at number 3. He is a classic Gen 1 Pokemon. Hydro Pump, one of the most recognizable water type moves, is his signature move. He is one of the most sought after starters in the entire series. Stat-wise he is one of the most balanced starters and his Mega evolution makes Blastoise quite possibly one of the strongest starters. #2 Greninja The fastest starter on the list and one of our personal favorites, Greninja is without a doubt the best of the Gen 6 Starters. When coupled with his unmatched speed and a Double Team, not only does he become an extremely hard target to hit but he also becomes a devilishly dangerous Pokemon to battle against. For all of you naysayers in the Back, he may lack in the defensive section, but he is also the only starter to get his own individual transformation. #1 Charizard Fight me. Charizard is the number 1 starter of all time. Nothing will beat him and nothing can compare. This absolute unit is the first and only starter to get not one but two Mega evolutions, and have both of them greatly improve this beast. He is so freaking epic that he is heavily sought after in every single form of media he comes in. A Mega Charizard X CARD is between 40 TO 70 dollars!!! His stats are through the roof. His appearances in the anime are shown with spectacle and amazement. Charizard is the Number 1 Starter of All Time. .
