Es por lo tanto esencial y por esto, atractivo y amplio. No se agota en estas líneas, sino todo lo contrario. Desea ser un resplandor que despierte el anhelo de la Luz, que es Dios mismo. Para que nos ayude a renovarnos interiormente hemos querido "ir a las Fuentes", como nos invita el Concilio Vaticano II, en su Perfecta Caritatis: la Regla las Constituciones de las Monjas Contemplativas Agustinas y a las de la Orden de San Agustín, a Nuestro Padre San Agustín, a la experiencia de algunos hermanos agustinos que destacan por su santidad de vida y son el patrimonio de la espiritualidad agustiniana1: Sta. Rita de Casia, Sta. Clara de la Cruz de Montefalco, S. Nicolás de Tolentino, S. Juan de Sahagún, Sto Tomás de Villanueva, al magisterio ascético-místico de San Alonso de Orozco, por ser representante destacable de dicha Escuela en la España del S. XVI, model de vida cristiana2; y fundador de Monasterios femeninos y masculinos de la época que ha dejado una huella que continua y pervive hasta nuestros días, San Ezequiel Moreno; y por último reflexiones de hermanos de nuestros días.
