Annexure A.1

Facilities added exclusively for Hostellers from Session 2019 onwards

1. Flexible and Options:

In order to provide students with more flexibility and increased choice of food varieties, the university is providing more options to the students in selecting the mess, flexible food options etc. The details of various options being provided to the students are:

1.1 Category 1: Choice of Option A: Standard menu The standard food menu is the same existing option being provided for , , and with with unlimited quantity for most of the items. Option B: Basic Menu The students are now also given to opt for Basic Food menu which will have limited items with fixed quantity for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner only (No tea with will be available in Basic food menu).

1.2 Category 2: Choice of food (North Indian food or South Indian food) Option A: North Indian food The students have a choice of North Indian food in both Standard menu and Basic menu. Option B: Regional (South Indian) food The students have a choice of Regional (South Indian) Food in Standard menu and Basic menu.

1.3 Category 3: Choice of mess

For boys only Option A: Avail mess in the allocated hostel (where student stays). Option B: Choose Central Mess facility at the back of Block 44. At this central location, students will further have the choice of 3 different mess facilities serving North Indian and South Indian food on first come first serve basis (refer to the example below for details).

For girls (staying in GH1,2,3,4 hostels only) Option A: Avail mess in the allocated hostel (where student stays). Option B: Choose Mess facility at any of the GH1,2,3,4 hostels on first come first serve basis (refer to the example below for details).

1.4 Category 4: Option to avail Mess with Lunch skip option at reduced fees

Any of the above options (as per category 1,2,3,4) can also be changed after the end of semester. 1.5 Example:

Boys: A male student of CSE has opted for BH1 Hostel. He will have the following options to avail mess facility:

Girls: a. A female student of CSE has opted for GH1 Hostel. She will have the following options to avail mess facility: Options Mess in allocated Mess in GH2 Mess in GH3 Mess in GH4 hostel (GH1) Standard food menu     (North Indian Food) Standard food menu     (South Indian Food) Basic food menu     (North Indian Food) Basic food menu     (South Indian Food) Option to skip lunch    

b. A female student of CSE has opted for GH5/6 Hostel. She will have the following options to avail mess facility:

Options Mess in allocated hostel (GH5/6) Option to take mess with lunch skip option at reduced fees Standard food menu   (North Indian Food) Standard food menu   (South Indian Food) Basic food menu   (North Indian Food) Basic food menu   (South Indian Food)

2. GYM Facility (Separate for Boys and Girls) GYM facility is being introduced at three different locations exclusively for hosteller students with 50% subsidized fee. The locations are Skating Zone Near Boys Hostel-2, in the premises of Girls Hostel-1,2,3,4 and in the premises of Girls Hostel-5,6.

3. Indoor Stadium With swimming pool, Warm up pool, shooting range, squash court, badminton court, volleyball court, basketball court etc. at 50% subsidized fee. Indoor Stadium Membership/ Gym Membership Fees:

1. Indoor Stadium: a. Normal Fees: Rs. 6000 per academic session b. Subsidised Fees: Rs. 3000 per academic session (if availed along with hostel allocation)

2. Gym Membership: a. Normal Fees: Rs. 6000 per academic session b. Subsidised Fees: Rs. 3000 per academic session (if availed along with hostel allocation)

For example:

A. In case student opt for above facilities at the time of Hostel allotment then fee for the Indoor Stadium Membership is Rs.3000/- and for Gym Membership is Rs. 3000/- respectively. For example: If a student opts for 4 Seater Standard Room (Air Cooled) residential facility, fee for the same is Rs. 55,000/- (per Academic Session) for residence and fee applicable after adding facilities will be as follows: a. With only Indoor Stadium Membership: Rs.58000/- Per Academic Session. b. With only Gym Membership: 58000/-Per Academic Session. c. With both Gym and Indoor Stadium Membership: 61000/- Per Academic Session.

B. In case student opt for above facilities after Hostel allotment then fee for the Indoor Stadium Membership is Rs.6000/- and for Gym Membership is Rs. 6000/- respectively. For example: If a student opts for 4 Seater Standard Room (Air Cooled) residential facility, fee for the same is Rs. 55,000/- (per Academic Session) for residence and fee applicable after adding facilities will be as follows: a. With only Indoor Stadium Membership: Rs.61000/- Per Academic Session. b. With Gym Membership: 61000/- Per Academic Session. c. With both Gym and Indoor Stadium Membership: 67000/- Per Academic Session.

4. Apartment Facilities (with reduced fee) Rooms with wooden box bed, wooden cupboard, washroom with semi modern accessories with reduced fee compared to last year. Refer table below for fees:
