Women of Hope - Salad and Dessert Supper Thursday, June 7 Social time 6:00 pm • Potluck 6:30 pm Women of Hope meets on the first Thursday of the month. During the summer, Women of Hope takes a break from regular programs and has potluck salad and dessert suppers at someone’s home. Our first one will be at the home of Mary Newman. Bring a salad or dessert to share. Wine is available for $2.00.

Movie Night Tuesday, June 12, 7:00 pm Our movie for June is Key Largo (1948) a film noir, starring & . A man visits his old friend's hotel and finds a gangster running things. As a hurricane approaches, the two end up confronting each other. Richard Brooks and 's screenplay concentrates on the simmering tensions among the many characters. Come and join us and remember this was before FEMA so we will have to see who cleans up the aftermath for both storms.

A sermon is a dialogue, a conversation. Once a year we invite your questions to further the conversation. The three current ministers at Hope will take turns exploring together what is on your hearts and minds. There is a basket by the sanctuary door inviting your written questions. (Or you can email them to [email protected]). If time allows we'll take requests from the floor.
