CREATIVE DIRECTOR, GREEN BRONX MACHINE; BRONX, NY - 2008 - 2010 I helped start a nonprofit that was dedicated to boosting green jobs and clean tech clusters in the South Bronx. Responsibilities included filming documentary HD content, prototyping a Web 2.0 platform and presenting original multimedia slideshows for a pilot class called “Green Bronx Jobs.”

FREELANCE MULTIMEDIA ARTIST, SOMERS, NY - 2002 - 2008 Collaborated on a variety of multimedia projects as a freelancer. Projects included archiving the Philip Glass archives at Looking Glass Studios, editing video at ESPN Classics, graphics at Stretch Films, pre-visualization work at Michael Sporn Animation, teaching 2D animation to fourth graders as part of Jacob Burns Film Center’s “Minds In Motion”, and co-produced music at Tribeca Recordings.

DISTRICT STAFF ASSISTANT, CONGRESSMAN STEVEN ROTHMAN,HACKENSACK, NJ - 2000 - 2001 Worked at the office of U.S. Congressman Steven Rothman, Tasks included assisting constituents with Section 8 Housing, researching noise pollution metrics and assisting on media outreach projects.

DIGITAL ARCHIVIST, OLD YORK LIBRARY, NEW YORK, NY - 1998 - 2000 Helped archive a large quantity of print materials on NYC historical arcana for an e-learning website. Responsibilities included scanning in old postcards, pamphlets, maps, books, photographs and other content.

WEBCAST ASSISTANT, JUMPCUT PRODUCTIONS, NEW YORK, NY - 1997 - 1998 Assisted on the production end for a series of live video webcasts. Events included a Tibet House benefit with the Dalai Lama, A&E Live By Request with Johnny Mathis and a PJ Harvey music concert at Irving Plaza.

EDITORIAL ASSISTANT, BYRON PREISS PUBLICATIONS, NEW YORK, NY - 1995 - 1996 Assisted a book editor at a sci-fi publishing company. Tasks included copy editing, database management and production work on “John Steinbeck’s The Pearl” CD-ROM for the multimedia wing of the company.
