‘MY SUMMER PRINCE’ CAST BIOS TAYLOR COLE (Mandy Cooper) – Taylor was most recently seen on CW series “The Originals” and starring in the Hallmark Channel original movie “Appetite for Love.” She was a recurring guest star in TV Land’s ‘Impastor,” CW’s “Supernatural,” A&E’s “The Glades,” and CBS’s “CSI Miami.” She was also a series regular on NBC’s hit show “The Event.” She starred in the Lifetime feature “Bad Blood,” and can also be seen in the films “The Violent Kind,” which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, “The Surrogates” and “Twelve Rounds,” as well as the MTV movie “All You’ve Got,” among other film credits. Taylor made her television debut on the WB show “Summerland” as Erika, a role originally intended to be a guest star, and promoted to series regular once Aaron Spelling and the other producers saw Taylor’s work. Taylor has had recurring roles in “Heroes” and “Secret Girlfriend,” and guest starred on “Ballers,” “Castle,” “Two and a Half Men,” “Entourage,” “NCIS,” and “Melrose Place,” to name a few. Taylor stars in the music video for Mayer Hawthorne, Ryan Cabrera’s hit song “True,” as well as the video for Papa Roach’s cross-over hit “Scars.” Born and raised in Arlington, Texas, Taylor played on her high school’s volleyball team and traveled the country competitively with the junior Olympic squad. She also has traveled the world as a professional model to such countries as Italy, France, Germany and Australia. An avid sports enthusiast, Cole continues to play volleyball, golf, practice tae kwon do, and surf (a sport she learned for “Summerland”). ### JACK TURNER (Prince Colin) – After studying Psychology at the University of Oxford, England, Jack moved to San Francisco where he worked for Google for five years. During that time, he enrolled in a local acting class and became addicted to the craft. Jack has been in LA working in TV, film and commercials since 2012. His first movie was "The 10 Year Plan," where he played Myles, a love-lorn hopeless romantic. In the last year, Jack appeared on “Stitchers” (Freeform) for two seasons as the mysterious bad guy Liam Granger. He also worked alongside Doug Jones in the recent “Nosferatu” remake, which should release in 2016. Jack is a musician with over 10 years of experience on keyboards and guitar. His band Cable Car featured songs on network television and film, and has two EPs on iTunes. He continues to produce music and perform in LA. Follow him on instagram @jaxonturner. ### MARINA SIRTIS (Penelope) - Marina gained worldwide acclaim as the sexy and cerebral “Deanna Troi” in the successful “Star Trek: The Next Generation” TV series and four Paramount feature films. Marina’s dramatic range has also earned her opportunities on stage, television, and feature films far beyond the “Star Trek” franchise. Films include the Oscar®-winning Best Picture “Crash” for which she received a SAG Award® (Ensemble). On television, Marina starred as Queen Wealhteow in Syfy Channel’s movie “Grendel” as well as recurred as Orli Elbaz on “NCIS.” Additional TV credits include: “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Without a Trace,” “Girlfriends,” and “The Closer.” Born in London, Marina secretly applied to the prestigious Guild Hall School of Music and Drama because her parents initially didn’t want her to become an actress. After graduating, Marina earned her acting chops on British TV before moving to Los Angeles. ### LAUREN HOLLY (Deidre Kelley) - Lauren is one of Hollywood’s most well respected actors and has proven to have lasting star power with roles in some of film and television’s most noteworthy projects. Lauren just finished her tenure on CTV/ABC's hit crime drama series, “Motive,” as Dr. Betty Rogers. As a medical examiner, Rogers uses her experience and clinical insights in order to help solve crimes. Lauren brought a quirky sense of humor and warmth that makes her character a standout among the terrific cast for 4 successful seasons. The series is currently airing on USA. In film, Lauren recently starred in the horror-thriller, “February,” with Emma Roberts, James Remar and Kiernan Shipka. Many know Lauren best from her three seasons as Director Jenny Shepard in the drama series “NCIS.” Holly was seen in the movie “King of Texas,” and in an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “King Lear,” playing opposite Academy Award®-winner Marcia Gay Harden, and renowned actor Patrick Stewart. She appeared in the miniseries “Jackie, Ethel, and Joan: Women of Camelot,” alongside Jill Hennessy and Leslie Stefanson. Holly starred as plastic surgeon Jeremy Hanlon on David E. Next, she received glowing reviews for her performance in the Edward Burns drama “No Looking Back.” Her numerous film credits include Oliver Stone’s “Any Given Sunday,” with Al Pacino, Cameron Diaz, and Jamie Fox, Sydney Pollack’s “Sabrina,” starring Harrison Ford, the action-drama “Turbulence,” co-starring Ray Liotta, “Beautiful Girls” and recently, “Field of Lost Shoes” alongside Jason Isaacs and David Arquette. Lauren played a lead role in the Universal production of “Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story” and other film credits include “A Smile Like Yours,” “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane,” “Down Periscope,” starring Kelsey Grammer, “Entropy,” “The Last Producer,” starring and directed by Burt Reynolds, “Hoovey,” and “Knockoff.” Recently, Lauren was seen starring in “After The Ball,” a retail fairy tale film set in the world of fashion, which was released in February 2015. In addition to acting, Lauren has her own fashion line with LE CHÂTEAU called Lauren’s Closet and an exclusive holiday home collection aptly named “HOLLYDAY COLLECTION”. ### VANESSA ANGEL (Queen Rosalind) - British-born Vanessa Angel began her career at age 14 as a model, when she was discovered by world-renowned agent, Eileen Ford. She gained much life experience by traveling the world, relocating to New York and appearing on many magazine covers, including "Vogue" and "Cosmopolitan." Her transition from modeling to acting came in 1985, when she was chosen by director John Landis to play a Russian spy in “Spies Like Us.” She honed her craft by studying with Sondra Lee and became a member of The Actor's Studio in New York, studying with Frank Corsaro. This led to roles in films including “King of New York,” “Sleep with Me,” and “Kingpin” a comedy by The Farrelly Brothers with Woody Harrelson and Bill Murray that has become a classic. She has an extensive film resume, including, “Kissing a Fool” with David Schwimmer and Jason Lee, “The Perfect Score” with Scarlett Johansson, “Super Babies: Baby Geniuses 2” with Jon Voight and many more. In addition to her film work, Angel starred in the hit series, “Weird Science” on the USA Network. The unique range of characters earned her critical recognition for her comedic timing. She has played many roles on television, including the police officer Peggy Elliot for a season on NBC's “Reasonable Doubts” with Mark Harmon and a recurring role of Anise/Freya on “Stargate SG-1.” She's also been in the HBO's popular show “Entourage” and “Hello Ladies: The Movie” with Stephen Merchant and many more guest appearances on shows. She reconnected with The Farrelly Bros in the film “Hall Pass” and made a memorable guest appearance in Showtime's “Californication.” She recently completed the films, “Talbot County” and “Trouble Sleeping.” Vanessa started a clothing line VANE LA in 2009 which retails at top LA boutique Ron Herman and other stores. She had experience working with top fashion designers during her time as a fashion model and developed a love of fashion and design. Vanessa lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Rick Otto, and their daughter India. ### .
