‘RUBY HERRING MYSTERIES: PREDICTION MURDER’ Cast Bios

TAYLOR COLE (Ruby Herring) – This starring role marks Taylor Cole’s third installment of the “Ruby Herring Mysteries” franchise, following “Ruby Herring Mysteries: Silent Witness,” and “Ruby Herring Mysteries: Her Last Breath,” which debuted on Hallmark Mysteries & Movies last year. Most recently, Cole starred in “Matching Hearts,” which aired in February as part of Hallmark Channel’s “Love Ever After” programming event. Additionally, Cole starred in the Hallmark Channel original movies “One Winter Proposal,” the sequel to “One Winter Weekend,” which premiered on the network in January 2019, as well as “The Art of Us,” “Christmas in Homestead,” “My Summer Prince” opposite her “One Winter Weekend” co-star Jack Turner, “Appetite for Love,” “Falling for You and “Christmas Festival of Ice. She starred in The CW’s “The Originals,” and is featured in multiple episodes in the current season of the CBS suspense drama “Salvation.” Cole co-stars with Val Kilmer and Tom Berenger in the feature film 1st Born, which was released in 2019.

Cole was a recurring guest star in TV Land’s “Impastor,” The CW’s “Supernatural,” A&E’s “The Glades” and CBS’ “CSI Miami.” She was also a series regular on NBC’s hit show “The Event.” She starred in the Lifetime movie “Bad Blood” and can also be seen in the films Weaponized, The Violent Kind, which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival, The Surrogates and Twelve Rounds, as well as the MTV movie “All You’ve Got,” among other film credits.

Cole made her television debut on The WB series “Summerland” as Erika, a role originally intended to be a guest star, and promoted to series regular once Aaron Spelling and the other producers saw her work. She had recurring roles in “Heroes” and “Secret Girlfriend” and guest starred on “Ballers,” “Castle,” “,” “Entourage,” “NCIS” and “Melrose Place,” to name a few. In addition, she stars in the music video for Mayer Hawthorne, ’s hit song “True,” as well as the video for Papa Roach’s cross-over hit “Scars.”

Born and raised in Arlington, , Cole played on her high school’s volleyball team and traveled the country competitively playing at the junior Olympic level. She also has traveled the world as a professional model to such countries as Italy, France, Germany and Australia. An avid sports enthusiast, Cole continues to play volleyball, golf, practice Tae Kwon Do and surfs (a sport she learned for “Summerland”).

STEPHEN HUSZAR (Jake Killian) — Stephen Huszar is a Canadian film and television actor born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan. Huszar began his acting career in 2004 with a role in the TV movie “The Cradle Will Fall” and shortly after his first lead role starring opposite Kim Coats in the feature film, Caught in the Headlights. His career took off rapidly and he appeared in recurring roles on popular series such as “Smallville” for The CW, “The Fringe” for FOX, “Corner Gas” for CTV, and “Paradise Falls” for Showcase.

Other notable credits include feature films such as Milton’s Secret, starring Donald Sutherland and Michelle Rodriguez, (for which he also served as a producer), 30 Days of Night: Dark Days, directed by Ben Ketai, Faces in the Crowd, opposite Milla Jovovich and Ferocious, opposite Kim Coates.

Selected television credits include his portrayal of comic book super villain Plunder in The CW’s “The ,” Showcase’s “Continuum,” The CW’s “Supernatural” and a recurring role on Crave TV’s “Letterkenny,” Canada’s top award-winning comedy series.

Most recently, Huszar starred “A Homecoming for the Holidays” and “Return to Christmas Creek” for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and this marks his third installment in the network’s original “Ruby Herring Mysteries” franchise. He also starred in the NETFLIX romantic comedy, “Christmas Wedding Planner” and Hallmark’s “Return to Christmas Creek,” both released in November 2019, and “My One and Only” released in August 2019.

Huszar recently completed production on the indie thriller Entropic directed by Robert W. Gray, and the romantic comedy “Mistletoe Magic.” His feature film Rabid, a remake of David Cronenberg’s cult classic, was released in theaters in December 2019.

Huszar divides his time between Toronto and Vancouver.

JOHN WESLEY SHIPP (John Herring) – Two-time Emmy Award winner John Wesley Shipp has juggled a career playing “superheroes, super-dads and psychopaths” with winning roles on daytime in “,” in primetime with “Dawson’s Creek,” “NYPD Blue” and currently guest-starring as multiple recurring characters on The CW’s hit series “.” Shipp originated the role of DC Comics hero The Flash on television for the eponymous CBS series in the 1990s.

Shipp intersperses his professional commitments with worldwide personal appearances – as part of a 40-year career in which he has cultivated a loyal fan base, with a diverse resume. He lives in New York City.
