Prvo je pandemija Corona virusa onemo- gućila međusobna druženja, organizaciju izložbi i ostalih aktivnosti u kulturnom životu građana, a onda je razoran potres 22.3.2020 pogodio Zagreb i teško oštetio staru povijesnu jezgru grada u kojoj je smješten Fotoklub. Galerija i prostorije kluba pretrpjele su takva oštećenja da nisu bile sigurne za boravak te su zahtijevale veće građevinske intervencije. Naizgled, ova dva događaja bila bi opravdani razlog da se na dulje vrijeme prekine rad Kluba. Međutim, mi se nismo predali! Usprkos svim nedaćama, zabranama okupljanja i uništenim prostorijama, mi smo u ovoj godini, na malo modificirani i prilagođeni način, organizirali uglavnom sve planirane aktivnosti, a uz to organizirali i neke nove. Prvih mjeseci intenzivno smo organizirali virtualne sadržaje: skupne izložbe fotografija članova Kluba, predstavljanje pojedinih autora, edukacije i drugo. Zahvaljujući prijateljskim klubovima i galerijama koji su nam ustupili svoje prostore, u par mjeseci organizirali smo čak 10 izložbi. Obzirom da su klupske prostorije jako oštećene u potresu, krenuli smo u nimalo laganu pripremu projektne dokumentacije kako bi se moglo pristupiti sanaciji Kluba. Kao neprofitna udruga, koja nema vla- stitih prihoda, pokrenuli smo veliku akciju skupljanja donacija. Akciji su se odazvali mnogi članovi kluba, prijateljski klubovi iz zemlje i inozemstva, inozemni partneri te pojedinci iz Australije, Austrije, Brazila, Italije, Južne Koreje, Katara, Kine, Srbije, Švicarske, Velike Britanije. Zahvaljujući donacijama, u rujnu smo krenuli s građevinskim radovima, a do kraja godine vratit ćemo se u naše prostorije. U ovoj, turbulentnoj i neizvjesnoj godini, uz sve probleme koje smo morali rješavati, intenzivno smo radili na organizaciji 39. Zagreb Salona, koji je ove godine po mnogočemu bio rekordan. Na natječaj je pristiglo ukupno 5934 fotografija 452 autora iz čak 44 zemlje diljem svijeta. Veseli nas da smo u ovim iz- nimno teškim uvjetima uspjeli nadmašiti prethodni, isto tako rekordni Zagreb Salon. U svojoj dugoj tradiciji, Salon je postao prepoznatljiv po izložbi nagrađenih radova koja se uvijek održava u nekoj od kulturnih ustanova u Zagrebu i kvalitetnom tiskanom katalogu. Ove će se godine izložba održati u Nacionalnoj i sveučilišnoj knjižnici. Možda ste se zapitali kakva je ovo naslovna stranica kataloga i zašto, kao inače, na njoj nema na- građene fotografije? Vjerujemo da vam je nakon čitanja ovog teksta jasnija naša ideja! Obzirom da je 2020. bila pose- bna, izuzetno teška, nepredvidiva i naporna godina, htjeli smo pokazati jedan zid ranjenog Fotokluba Za- greb kao podsjetnik budućim generacijama da uvijek treba ići dalje i nastaviti tradiciju kluba dugu 128 godina. Hrvoje Mahović Predsjednik Zagreb salona Predsjednik Fotokluba Zagreb 6 A WORD FROM THE SALON’S CHAIRMAN The year 2020 has in many ways changed our perception of the World as a whole, as well as our way of living. Two extremely difficult occurances have affected the way Fotoklub Zagreb has been working this year. The first was the COVID 19 pandemic causing distancing between people, impossibility of organising ex- hibitions and other cultural activities in our Club. Then on March 23 we were struck by an earthquake that caused severe damage to the old city center in which Fotoklub Zagreb has its premises. The exhibition gallery and adjacent spaces were not safe to stay in and required big construction and building interventions. Seemingly these two events would verify stopping all the Club's plans and work for a long period of time. Because we did not give up. In spite of all of these adversities, restrains and ruined premises, we have managed to continue work- ing in a modified way, organizing and completing almost all of our planned activities as well as some new ones. For the first few months we worked extensively organising virtual exhibitions of our members' photos, presentations of individual photographers and online courses in educating photography. Thanks to friendly photo clubs and galleries we organized as many as ten exhibitions. Since our premises were badly damaged in the earthquake, we initiated a complicated preliminary plan of sanation. Since our Club is a non-profit organisation without it's own income, we established various means of raising funds for this purpose. We had great response from our members as well as friendly photo- clubs, partners and friends from all over the world, mainly Australia, Austria, Brasil, Italy, South Korea, Quatar, China, Serbia, Switzerland, Great Britain. Thanks to those donations we hope to go back to work in our re- paired premises by the end of the year. In this unfortunate, doubtfull and uncertain year, besides all the above mentioned problems we had, we intensively worked on organising our 39 Zagreb Salon 2020. It turned out to be record-breaking in many ways: alltogether 5934 photos by 452 authors from 44 countries were received for the competition. We are pleased that it surpassed the previous one, which also held the record up till then. The long tradition of Za- greb Salon has also been recognized for the Exhibition organised in a cultural institution or gallery which ac- companies it, as well as the high quality printed catalogue. This year the Exhibition will take place in the National and University Library in Zagreb. Taking this catalogue in your hands maybe you wondered about the cover, how come it does not present a prize-winning photo of the Zagreb Salon competition? After reading the text above we hope you understand our idea. Since the year 2020 was so difficult and unpredictable, we wanted to show you a portion of a damaged wall in Fotoklub Zagreb as a reminder to future generations that we must always strive further and continue our 128 years long tradition.     Grad Zagreb Upute za slučaj potresa u Gradu Zagrebu Ured za upravljanje u hitnim situacijama Evakuacijski koridori, Općenito o potresima prihvatne površine Do potresa dolazi uslijed pomicanja tektonskih ploča u unutrašnjosti Zemlje, a posljedica je podrhtavanje Zemljine kore zbog oslobađanja velike količine energije. Potres opisujemo dvjema različitim mjerama: magnitudom i intenzitetom potresa. Magnituda potresa je egzaktna mjera energije koja je u slučaju evakuacije oslobođena prilikom potresa, mjeri se seizmografima, a izražava se stupnjevima Richtera. Intenzitet potresa opisuje posljedice koje je potres proizveo na Zemljinoj površini, a iskazuje se s pomoću „tradicionalne“ Mercalli-Cancani-Siebergove (MCS) ljestvice ili novije Europske makroseizmičke ljestvice građana i površine za (EMS). Obje ljestvice sadržavaju 12 stupnjeva, a opisuju razornost i posljedice potresa na Zemljinoj površini. Najučinkovitija preventivna mjera zaštite jest protupotresna gradnja građevina projektirana sukladno Pravilniku o tehničkim normativima za izgradnju objekata visokogradnje u odnosu na potresnu postavljanje šatorskih zonu u kojoj se objekt nalazi. naselja u slučaju potresa Opće činjenice o potresu: • potres ne ubija, ubijaju građevine i dijelovi građevina; • poznato je da se potres može dogoditi te da se može predvidjeti njegova jačina, ali ne i vrijeme njegova zbivanja; • najbolja preventiva je dobro planiranje, projektiranje i gradnja prema načelima protupotresnoga graditeljstva; M 1:40000 • potrebno je stalno educiranje stanovništva i osposobljavanje operativnih snaga.
