2. ENTRY DETAILS a) Please make your entries via your Tattersalls Online Account (www.tattersalls.com), where the Terms and Conditions are available to download. Tattersalls must receive catalogue entries by Monday 24 February, at the latest. b) Wildcard entries will be accepted up to and including Monday 16 March, subject to availability and confirmation. c) Tattersalls check entry details on vendors’ information only. They are believed to be correct but the responsibility is entirely the Vendors. Tattersalls are no way responsible for any misdescription.

3. FEES & COMMISSION (See Condition of Sale 3) a) The entry fee for this Sale will be £275 for each Lot catalogued. The entry fee for yearlings and two-year-olds (excluding the Ascot Breeze Up and Yearling Sales) will be £350 for each Lot catalogued. This includes charges for compilation of Sales details and printing. The minimum selling price at this Sale is £600 (See Condition of Sale 3.1). b) To avail of your discounted entry fee, you must pay online by Monday 24 February. c) Lots withdrawn from this Sale without a veterinary certificate to Tattersalls’ satisfaction after Friday 28 February will incur a withdrawal fee of £100. If no advance written notice of withdrawal is provided prior to the day of the Sale then a withdrawal fee of £200 is payable by the vendor (See Condition of Sale 3.5). d) Tattersalls must receive veterinary certificates within 28 days after the last day of the Sale. e) Commission (See Condition of Sale 3.2). f) Fees and Commission are subject to VAT or equivalent where applicable (See Condition of Sale 3.9).

4. RESERVE PRICE (Condition of Sale 3.4) a) An Auction fee is payable to Tattersalls by the Vendor at the rate of 2.5% of any reserve price of any Lot. However, where the reserve is £5,000 (£10,000 Ascot Breeze Up and Yearling Sales) or less, no fee will be charged. b) Unless written instructions are lodged with Tattersalls Ascot on the Additional Information/Reserve Form provided by Tattersalls, Lots will be sold without reserve.

5. PEDIGREE PROOFS a) Your pedigree proofs are available to view on your Tattersalls Online Account. Vendors are reminded that they alone are responsible for the accuracy of their catalogue details and they are advised to check these proofs with care. b) No pedigree amendments can be made for this Sale, other than to notify us to any changes to the horse details, which must be received immediately. c) Proofs are available to you the Consignor and therefore, where there are other owners you should send a copy of the proof to them for this purpose.

6. CATALOGUING a) Lots will be catalogued at the discretion of Tattersalls.

7. CATALOGUE DISTRIBUTION a) Catalogues are automatically distributed to the address of the signee on the Online Entry Form. If further catalogues are required, please provide Tattersalls with the relevant name/address/email/telephone number.

8. VENDOR OWNERSHIP (See Condition of Sale 9.12) a) Please refer to this Condition to see what is required where there has been any change in the ownership of a Lot between the date of the Sale Entry Form and the time at which the Lot is put up for auction.

9. REGISTRATION COSTS a) Where costs are incurred by a Purchaser in registering a Lot as catalogued or in obtaining all required registration papers for a Lot, these costs will be the responsibility of the Vendor. Vendors of Lots coming from overseas must apply to their Stud Book Authority for export certificates to be sent to .

10. INSURANCE (See Condition of Sale 8) a) We strongly recommend that insurance cover is arranged against mortality and theft.

11. HEALTH DOCUMENTATION Health documentation requirements for this Sale are available on the Sale Documentation Notice and listed on your Online Account. Template certificates for completion by your vet are available to download from the Tattersalls Ascot website, www.tattersallsascot.com/information/documentation

12. PASSPORTS a) Passports must accompany the horses to the Sale and be presented and checked at the Control Office to gain entry. b) Passports will be held at the Control Office and can be collected with the correct Pass Out when taking the Sold or Not Sold Lots from the Ascot Racecourse Stables.

13. EQUINE INFLUENZA VACCINATIONS a) Compliant EI vaccines consisting of a primary course and booster within 9 calendar months to the first day of the Sale, recorded in the horse’s passport, as required by the Rules of Racing and signed by a veterinary surgeon. No vaccinations should be given within the 7 days prior to arrival to the Ascot Racecourse Stables.

14. ARRIVALS a) The Control Office will be open for arrivals from 8:00am on Wednesday 18 March. For further details contact the Ascot Racecourse Stable Manager Tom Grantham +44 (0) 1344 878454 / +44 (0) 7717 631437 or Night Security +44 (0) 7534 691760. b) Do not unload your entries from their horsebox until their passport has been checked and cleared by the Control Office. c) We recommend using the loading bays which can be located on the map as area 7. d) If the loading area is occupied, please wait patiently whilst a space to becomes available. e) Hip numbers must be collected at the Control Office on arrival and placed on Lots when presented for Sale.

15. PRESENTATION OF LOTS a) To facilitation purchasers, someone must be in attendance to show horses from 8:00am until the end of the day’s Sale or until the horse is sold and contact has been made with the Purchaser. b) Vendors are reminded that only hay and bedding are provided. All hard feed, mangers etc. must be supplied by the vendor. c) All horses must be presented at all times, whether loading, unloading, in the stables, and sale ring in either a bridle or chifney and not on any account a head collar. d) When a Lot is to be X-rayed, this must only take place in the designated veterinary box. e) Vendors should take their Lots to the pre-parade ring as soon as they are summoned by Tattersalls staff and at least half an hour before they are due to enter the sale ring. f) All horses are requested to be removed from the stables on their day of Sale and no later than 12:00pm noon on the following day of the Sale. g) If someone is transporting on your behalf, we recommend you pass this information on.

16. VETERINARY EXAMINATION a) Lot Sold Subject to Post-Sale Veterinary Examination will be charged £150, excluding a blood sample (See Condition of Sale 14). b) Lots Sold Subject to Post-Sale Veterinary Examination of Wind Only will be charged £100, excluding a blood sample (See Condition of Sale 16).

17. BLOOD TESTING (See Conditions of Sale 27, 28) a) Blood testing is available at the option of purchasers as described under Condition of Sale 27 (Drugs) and Condition of Sale 28 (Piroplasmosis).

18. HEALTH AND SAFETY a) Vendors and their staff are requested to always observe good Health and Safety practices. b) All persons attending do so entirely at their own risk. Horses can be , especially when handing those with which you are not familiar. Please do not enter those areas and walkways reserved for horses. c) To improve the safety at Tattersalls Ascot, please be aware of Health and Safety measures and regulations, which are being implemented for the benefit for all those who attend. Please follow the advice and instructions from all Tattersalls appointed staff and stewards at all times.
